Brit Hotel Essentiel de Granville

The location , close to my final destination. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Clean neat hotel. Handy for the railway station. It’s got a bike lock up.

Very cramped room.

Receptionist very helpful on arrival.

Someone elses hair left on the bathroom floor, including trimmings & it didn't look like the bathroom floor was properly cleaned. Didn't have time to explain on departure because we were rushing to catch a ferry. No air conditioning room was very warm at night.

Apartment style room a decent size with a small kitchen and dining area. Outside shutters were great at keeping light out and made a big difference.

Location is a fair walk into town but known when booking.

Small room and bathroom but both spotless. Sheets and towels very clean and fresh smelling. Hotel very good for overnight or more stopover on journey, kettle in room very welcome. Staff were excellent and very helpful especially evening receptionist.Breakfast plentiful and varied.

Would have preferred a china mug in room.

Spacious well equipped studio with comfortable bed, good bathroom, very quiet.

Unable to check in until 5.15

Location and room size

Toilet seat broken, could have been cleaner

Stayed at the aparthotel with a kitchenette. The location was convenient, a 20 minute walk to town and a car park with a gate that closes at night. Plenty of room in a modern, bright and clean facility. Air con was excellent and needed.

Clean accessible to coast and quiet

Good choice if you need a room only to sleep and spend most of your time outside. Good location - very close to railway station. Quiet and convenient hotel with small shops and bakeries around. 20 min walk to city centre and tourists' attractions.

Family room didn't include microwave, small kitchen and/or fridge.

Good location

Lack of supplies in the studio. Room smelled like baby diaper. Noisy as well. Not worth the money.

Great location close to town, free parking, nice breakfast, comfy beds, friendly staff.

Room a little tight for four people.

The gentleman on reception was very helpful in finding us secure storage for our bicycles when we were concerned about the outside cage that was originally offered for bike storage. Breakfast was good.

Rooms were quite small. Lot of noise of motorbikes and cars in the street.

It was basic but clean. We looked for 2 rooms close together. And the staff managed to get us rooms across from each other.

The pillows were so flat, it was like you didn't have one. Had to fold towels to sleep on. Booked and paid for continental breakfast. Breakfast was until 10am. We went down at 9am. All the bread except a French stick was gone. There were 5 of us. Had to ask for more. Only because I insisted, they weren't going to provide any. The woman at the front desk just shrugged her shoulders. €12 pp for some bread, cheese and yoghurt.

provided what we asked for 6 individual beds

closer to town but not your fault we knew where you were located but we had been cycling all day :)

The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was overpriced for the facilities provided. One of the rooms had dirty pillows without pillow cases but this was quickly resolved by the helpful staff. The rooms and bathrooms were small.

Clean, Location, Friendly Staff, Cost.

Small room.

Location was good & dog friendly. Parking was good & secure. Nice breakfast at an extra price. Large room & comfortable, with lovely shower.

No Wi-Fi which was needed. Paid extra for a bigger room but the hotel Wi-Fi didn’t reach that room. Hotel offered a refund but there was limited options available so did stay & did enjoy it.

As expected , basic but clean

NoisyDated and bathroom needs work

there was parking

the rooms were small and cramp, hot and noisy. no fans or air-con. our friends reported that reception staff were unfriendly too on their arrival
