Hotel Des Bains

Our room had a nice view of the sea. The breakfast was very good.

The hotel is fairly shabby. A makeover would do a lot of good.

Staff was excellent! Room was more modern than we anticipated. Location IDEAL!

Parking a little complicated

Front desk staff wonderful. The room was great and would hope to return to same room annually.

Tough to get dinner in the attached hotel. It didn't look full but there was no place for us.

It was very conveniently located to the canal and down town. The room was comfortable and quiet. It was tastefully decorated and well supplied

Getting into the hotel was a bit confusing because it was being run from the hotel across the street. It was extremely expensive The breakfast started too late for me to get to my business venue on time, so I didn’t get to partake in the breakfast I paid for in advance

Rooms and hotel common areas quite basic, lack of decoration. Total absence of cachet for this hotel des bains.

The noise level in the rooms were difficult to judge because there was a serious storm and very high winds.Very nice hotel, and bedrooms, we had a twin bed. Good breakfast but might need to replace the egg boiler. It recommends 3 minutes but the egg needs at least 5 minutes and water needs to be kept topped up, otherwise delicious breakfast, lots of choice.

Enjoyed the breakfast. Restaurant served great food, staff all friendly. Location was great: near beach, old town, Christian Dior museum...Great 'last century pub' across the road!

There was a kettle in the room but no cups or beverages!Parking was a problem but free on the street.

Twin beds VERY close together. Too close for people who don’t know each other well.

Close to the port to walk

Very disturbed night when night club finished. No free parking nearby

Location for visiting Granville. Clean comfortable bed and pleasant staff.

Tired reception, tiny room. No ventilation, could not leave window open do to noise from pigeons and seagulls resident in the centre non view area. Broken light in bathroom. Rooms like this create negative feedback and reviews.

The location and the clean room with a view

The bathrooms were clearly updated recently. They were great. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even though we did not speak much French. There is a lot to see and do in Granville. We loved eating the freshest oysters by the port, lots of shopping, and many cafes to have a great breakfast or lunch. We would come back again.

Nothing, it was all very nice.

Location. Lift access. Big comfortable bed. New bathroom.

Seagulls. Proved to be a nuisance. Parking expensive (£30 for 3 days) although free if you were further away and if you were lucky enough to get a space. No coffee and tea making facilities in room.

Good location and next to the sea as well as in the center of the town. 10 minute walk to the railway station During the visit time good value for money. Restaurant on the premises.

There was work ongoing on the outside building but there was no noise problem.

Close to the beach and downtown. Free coffee and food. Clean bathroom and friendly staff.

There was a brown spot on the blanket. The hotel has a load generator which was annoying during the night because it was so warm that closing the window was not possible.
