Hôtel Mercure Rochefort La Corderie Royale

Excellent front desk. Excellent upscale lunch. Large comfortable room. Attractive property locators next door to the Corderie. All good, but absolutely stay there again.

It was just next to Corderie Royale and was close yo other tourist attractions.The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. It was also very relaxing to chill at their restaurant/bar. You can see some boats pass by which really entertained my son.The staffs were very helpful and friendly. They also responded quickly when I asked questions about the room using this app.

The staff was very accommodating and the best part was the restaurant which we only went to because it was raining out and locally didn't see any restaurants we'd like. Had one of the best meals of our trip and the lovely blue-eyed woman waiting on us was fantastic.

Location was blah but not hotels fault.

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location and a great stop off on our drive through France. The staff were lovely and set us up a table in the bar for breakfast as we had our small dog with us. Easy parking and a lovely walk into the town centre.

No option to eat dinner in the bar but we did have room service instead.

I liked everything, everything was fine!

The Hotel's history, the location, the friendly and welcoming reception staff, the good size richly painted room overlooking the square with a comfy bed, coffee and tea supplied (but no milk supplied) the parking, and the access to the history of the area. the breakfast was fresh and with a good selection in a friendly manner, The Dinner was local and good quality but the selection was limited, would stay again.

The bar staff could attend the bar more as we waited a long time to be served and we had to track the staff member again to get a further drink, but they were friendly

When we arrived in the car park, a staff member going off duty saw us and welcomed us she was so nice. However when we arrived at Reception the staff member there was on the phone for over 5 minutes and didn’t even acknowledge us until she finished the call. The checkout on the morning of Sunday 12th Oct was great as the friendly welcoming member of staff was back on duty

The location is excellent near the river and sea, and the building is lovely with lots of history. with a dark modern interior and friendly reception and dining staff.

The barman could have stayed near or at the bar and some bar snack menus would have been a good idea the menu in the restaurant all thought the staff were attentive and good the food could have had a better range with a wider choice.

So the location was great lots of historical things to see and do. Fantastic Building.The room was clean and tidy—the blue-painted walls were not my liking. The pool was open but I could not use it as it was raining.Breakfast is delicious. The dinner menus, while the food was good the menu was limited.The Staff are very helpful and welcoming.

The room was much smaller than advertised, with an exceptional view of roofs and the hotel car park. Definitely not value for money!

We only stayed for one night on a trip back to England from Spain but we managed to cram in some time at the pool, a walk around the town in the evening and breakfast in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay - the staff were ace, really friendly and helpful, the room had a nice atmosphere with the dark colours and lighting and we liked the separation of the bedroom and bathroom. The pool is nicely situated and the grounds take in the river and the impressive and elegant 17th century rope factory - it was a great spot to enjoy an early evening drink. Breakfast was great - loads of choice and properly fresh little croissants. The town is beautiful for an evening wander with little bars and restaurants and so many elegant white buildings. If I returned here I'd definitely stay at the hotel again.

The hotel is close to restaurants and bars and also the harbour. The bar area is welcoming and comfortable

We booked a room with air conditioning and it wasn’t working. We asked for another room but there was none available. Had an uncomfortable night as it was so warm.

We loved the historical setting of the hotel inside the park of the magnificent Corderie Royale and the hotel itself with its tasteful decor. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the staff both in the hotel and in the restaurant were helpful and friendly.

Lovely location near the marina and beside the river. Short walk to the town centre. Hotel is beautifully decorated. Lots of plug sockets. Great walk in shower . It looked brand new. Very good breakfast. Scrambled eggs were delicious.

Room was slightly small but enough storage space and lovely decor .

Only the sound of birdsong , the , location and elegance , spotless, brilliant decor ! Great market on the Saturday, in town and amazing seafood indoor market too .! Good restaurants nearby .great parking .. need I say more .Thanks especially to Lucas and (Mimosa)Melissa ! You are lucky, Mercure hotels to have these front of staff .
