- The location is excellent.
- Although there was building work going on, it didnt affect our stay Rooms were clean & spacious, beds comfortable.
Cons -
- During our short stay there were 2 issues we were not made aware of. We had a superior room with a pool view. We knew the pool was not in use but did not know that the area was a building site with scaffolding erected and stacked in the area and workmen hauling materials up and down and painting the external walls. Internally, there was also work going on in the lobby with new walls being constructed. Parking is always an issue in La R. There is no parking allowed at the hotel except to unload. That is accepted. However, when we came to leave, there was a flood defence exercise happening along the quay, and there was no access to the hotel at all by car. We had to carry our luggage to the car in the remote carpark. Were the staff bothered?
