The location is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning beach lined with palm trees and a peaceful atmosphere that made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. I loved that it was never crowded, it felt like a private escape.The food was truly delicious, every meal was fresh and full of flavor.What really made the difference was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and warm, in a way I haven’t experienced anywhere else. Joseph and Jamal were especially helpful, and I’m grateful to all the other team members as well, even if I don’t remember all their names.We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

My stay at Diamond Mpenzi was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the team went above and beyond to make me feel valued and appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised with a beautiful room upgrade, which I truly believe was a thoughtful recognition of my continued loyalty to the Diamonds brand — from Diamonds Leisure in Diani to Diamonds Malindi. This gesture meant a lot and set the tone for a truly memorable stay.The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive, making every interaction effortless and enjoyable. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality stood out throughout my stay.The food was simply amazing — rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and a variety that catered to every preference. Long waiting time in the beach restaurant during lunch.Cocktails as part of all inclusive were not tasty

The food was not limited and lots of variety to choose from, the spa was very good, drinks were good. Really nice on Tuesday and Thursday nights they do special dinners on the beach with a show. That was very nice. The kite surfing lessons to the left of the beach was also fun experience.The pool is sheltered from the wind. It is nice to do a walking trip with the masai to see the sea stars with low tide. They do fun activities with the kids during the day, but more for older kids.

beach was very far from where we stayed, but okay if you doing mind a bit of walking. Not wheelchair or pram friendly. We unfortunately struck a few days of but weather with a lot of wind, but then did the kite surfing. We were supposed to go diving, but there was a miscommunication on the day. Then missed diving completely on the trip. With a 18month old, sitting services there was not in a selected area where they could be looked after and the area used looked like the pool area where the older kids could do the activities. I think the hotel should specify age, times etc as this was one of the main reasons why I booked this hotel that we could utilise this option when we wanted to do a dive on our anniversary. But then again didnt feel safe to leave her alone for that long and ended up not going. Too many masais on the beach and beach boys. So not nice to go for a beach walk, but there is security

The staff coming to clean or check the room even 5 or 6 times a day. Not the best for privacy and relax.

While the staff were all super friendly, competent and helpful, they were visibly over extended when the resort got busier. More staff members would certainly make a big difference.

The location is lovely set on the beach , plenty of sun beds beach bar looking into crystal blue waters The hotel was lovely and had lots to offer to get involved with hotel life out wanted to Themed night’s entertainment and nothing was to much trouble The staff were excellent and made our stay perfect There is an on site spa which I highly recommend Amina a trainee receptionist was there every morning with a huge big smile and a morning greeting thank you for everything you did for us you do a fantastic job ?Also a big thank you to Abas trod & beverage manager you looked after everyone so well thanks so much

- Pool, included drinks and snaks for free.- Variety of food in breakfast and dinner, all buffet.- everyday there are free activities and shows.- bed size is extra large

- breakfast menu never changes.- bedroom small and old fashion.- TV has only 3 working channels and not smart.- every day climbing 200 stairs steps for breakfast.- bathroom windows exposed to neighbours- swimming in beach not good with lots of dirts and seaweeds.

Breakfast was excellent, staff was very attentive. Food and beverage manager is very hands on and attentive to all the guests. and very well prepared. Rooms are beautiful, and the views are breath taking. This resort is one of my favorite places in Zanzibar.

We stayed in the beach villa which was perfect for us we had a toodler. You open your door and you on the beach. We loved the views and location of the villa. A special thank you to Chef Victor who went out of his way for us, always checking if we needed anything for our son and ourselves as we didn't eat certain foods. He was really great. Also a thank you to Yasser who also made sure we were taken care off during our stay. Beautiful resort and beach. The themed nights are great as they set up at different locations. Enjoyed every moment of our hoilday.

We didn't mind it but for those travelling with babies and elderly, there are alot of stairs to get to and from reception, restaurants and the beach. Breakfast menu can be changed a little, as it became very monotonous for 7 days with the same options.

Everything was perfect!The crew (especially Daniel, Abbas and Khannaf) was amaizing, very friendly, carring, and helpfull. The hotel is clean, very well maintained, very special. It is perfect for a family who is looking for a quite and beautiful place. We had a great 8 nights vacation with our kids.

The staff were excellent especially Victor,Vinoth, Yasser and Kuyaa Ally.

The steps on each level

It’s hard to choose one thing that I enjoyed. The staff were extreme friendly, always greeting us with a smile and a happy ‘Jambo!’. The location was superb. I can highly recommend staying in a beach villa because the ocean is your backyard - perfect for that proper holiday feeling. The food was also superb and exceeded expectations! There was so much to choose from at the buffet, from pastas, to soups, fresh fruits and vegetables and meat dishes. The vegetarian curry was the best I’ve ever had and people with different dietary requirements will not be disappointed. The hotel offers various themed nights with local music and performances. There is also a tour desk should you feel the urge to explore Zanzibar a bit more with a private company - this is really helpful for those who like to live more spontaneously. I would love to have stayed longer!

The turn down service one night did start later than I would have liked - I think housekeeping only got to our room at 9:30pm. However, they were really prompt. Also, the beach boys were a bit of a nuisance. (Although I know they have nothing to do with the hotel, they are in close proximity and struggle to take ‘no’ for an answer). I noticed that they would sometimes talk to girls who were alone and that was not comfortable. The security could be a little bit more aware of that - just to make guests feel more safe (especially females).

Food was all incl. breakfast and dinner - and it was ok, not stunning but ok. rooms very good size - area not as nice as Paje

We stayed I Paje first and then went here, and we liked Paje more. The hotel looks so much more appealing on the website, so that was a disappoint ment. Staff was nice though.
