- It felt like i was in the hospital. No shower gel, not even soap, room was smelly ? you need to wait for the housekeeping lady in order ask for a towels. The mattress had a plastic cover on it, the pillow is also made of plastic or something. The breakfast is so poor that i guess it would be better without it. One night before we were staying in a private beautifully designed fully equipped house in the middle of the forest, by the river, 15 min driving from Amboise and paid 10 euros more
