Great property grounds. Excellent breakfast and services.

Room could have been more ventilation. To keep bugs out, we did not open windows in the night. Meshed windows would have been better.

Nice stylish old hotel with well-kept territory

The room was cold though had a heater, the hotel was almost empty, so we had to wait for water to heat. Too far from touristic places (which could be a pro but not this time).

The setting was incredible, the staff was lovely and went out of their way to help, and the rooms/breakfast were both fantastic. An unbelievable venue for a family wedding!

The only slight issue was that the WiFi dropped in and out a couple of times but this didn't really bother us at all

Beautiful family-owned hotel set into an antique farm house with a charming interior garden. It definitely has this authentic feeling you look for in rural hotels in an exotic country like Peru! The restaurant is pretty good and I definitely recommend a Pisco Sour at the cosy salon with a chimney!:). We took a train to Machu Picchu from the Urubamba station which is only 10 minutes away from the Casona de Yukay. We were only 4 people and were treated like kings:). I definitely recommend the hotel!

It is my second stay at La Casona de Yucay, and my third visit there in 2023 (after 2 nights in 2018 and 2022 just visiting the place). Its location is very good, the rooms nice with big windows, clean and cozy. All staff are wonderful people, always very helpful and making you feel 'at home'. We stayed for 10 nights in total (3 nights and 7 nights) as we were hiking, resting, online working. I also has its very own charm with its architecture and beautiful gardens. We always moved in the micro buses to Urubamba or other places in the valley. I loved staying at Casona de Yucay, it is a magical place. I will come back.

I look forward to more variety in meal choices for dinner and more diversity in breakfast. It was all very good, just more variety in fruits, juices, breads etc. would be so great. And I look forward to hear and see the hotels's efforts in sustainability.

The garden is amazing, the rooms super clean and the restaurant delicious. The people there though are the ones that make the place for me. Such a lovely bunch

there was a sewage smell in our room but when we asked to be transferred, we were immediately moved to bigger, quieter room with no smell.

the place is beautiful, staff is very attentive, bed is super comfortable, 100% worth the money - would stay here again

there was a small hole in our bathroom wall that wasn’t properly closed, not a big deal, but would have been nicer if it was closed
