This hotel is a dump !!! Paper thin walls, trash around the outside, . Most disturbing : NO TOILET SEAT ON TOILET.!!!!!

Payment is cash only and no card payments are accepted. The staff do not speak English.The hotel is very old, and the facilities are in need of maintenance. The room was not very clean; the windows were all dirty, and items in the room, such as the telephone, were covered in fingerprints and dirt stains.

There's nothing good about it

The air conditioning was broken, but they left it for five days. They didn't even change the towels on the last day. Many of the staff couldn't speak English. It's good for a student trip, but adults should pay 30 euros and stay at a different hotel.

Place was quite dirty: old hair from last visitor and black mold in shower, drain in the bathroom sink was not clear, bathroom smelled of urine, dirt and fingerprints on windows, balcony was so dirty (poo of birds everywhere), no balcony furniture-bedsheet had a hole from a cigarette-generally really old and run-down room!-had no warm water!! also told them this and they didn’t do anything

personnel is very friendly, but only speaks Italian

To sum up my experience , i would need to give abit of backstory. The reservation happened in a spur with not many options available as it was on the 15th of August. We had travelled via boat from Greece to Brindisi and trying to make our way up to Germany. No reception during the boat trip so no communication was available. I opened my data at some point where i receive a flood of texts and missed calls on WhatsApp from an number I didn't know (leaving the fact aside that the profile pic was of a minor) . I turned out to be the hotel trying to confirm the reservation, I confirmed and informed them the estimation arrival time , (close to 10pm) they acknowledged and no further communication was needed. Finally arriving at the hotel, we are informed that the room has no hot water since the the heater is broken (the owner did provide an option of giving us a key of a room that would have checked out in the morning to take a shower, although which room and at what time it was unknown. Upon closer inspection of the room, there was no toilet seat. So even it was after an exhausting day and late at night we decided to leave and find a better equip establishment.

Bad

Air conditioning broken from what seemed like a long time ago and there were 37 degrees outside. External window covers broken. Bathroom terrible, with old mold and a leaking toilet. Night lamp broken. Bed covers dirty. Almost nothing for breakfast. Absolute disaster, I have no idea how this hotel still manages to charge more than 80 euro per night.

The staff was incredible, extremely helpful. We arrived late and they help us to find dinner. Always friendly and understanding. I was glad to choose this hotel. The room was big enough, the bed was nice.

First we had to change rooms because balcony window could not be opened. In the second room we did not have hot water. The bathroom was in a very bad shape.

Poor conditions

Location is ok, around 2 km from Bari Vecchio..The room is large, there are basic stuff, big desk, tv, very comfy bed, clean sheets, enough towels (3 per person-small, medium, big), althoug they were not changed once in 4 days..nice balcony

The place is pretty much outdated..it needs renovation, it can be really nice place..the balcony windows were not cleaned in years, I would say..sometimes, the bad smell was comming from the bathroom..There is a fridge in the room, which is good, but since it is older, it is too loud. Air condition could not heat, which was an issue, since it was cold at night.This is a familly hotel, and I would say that all familly members are working here, but most of them do not speak english well. The biggest issue is internet, it was advertised that there is free internet in whole object, but on my floor I could not even detect the network. It can be a real issue if you are working on you trip.

Avoid

It’s very old, used to be students dorm or something like that.Some rooms have mold on the ceiling from flooding.Go there only if you need a special experience and don’t have Time Machine at hand :)

Avoid this hotel at all costs

The bathroom was disgusting, there was corrosion everywhere. The toilet flusher didn't work and the shower faucet was broken. There was a balcony door attached which was uncovered and half the blinds missing. You could see everything inside the bathroom from the outside. The bedsheets appeared clean but the bed itself was unstable and squeaky every time you'd make the slightest move. The mattress was uncomfortable and seemed aged. Overall it was a bad experience.

Room is good size, clean.
