Hotel Kastoria in Kastoria City

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is excellent – in a quiet and peaceful area, yet very convenient. Parking was easy, which was a big plus.The staff were very polite and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed.Right from the hotel starts a beautiful coastal walkway, perfect for a relaxing stroll all the way to the monastery. It was one of the highlights of my stay.I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a calm and comfortable stay in a lovely setting.

Location was good, nice view from balcony

The bathroom sneed a bit moldy, there was some mold or mildew in the shower area. The room was a bit warm and we had no control over the ac unit in the room. When we checked in, the lady at the counter seemed very busy and rushed us in, she did not explain to us about how the breakfast worked.

wonderful location at the lakeside of kastoria (almost every room had lakeview) with beautiful renovated local architecture mansions at the vicinity, the parking was not difficult, recommendation: use the lakeside road in front of the hotel for long walks/runs towards the tip of the kastoria peninsula and the mavriotissa monastery,

the hotel is slightly old even though well maintained and the room was really for one person (the bed reminded me of my army service), but overall clean and more than adequate (plus VFM)

Very friendly and attentive staff, nice location with a view of the lake, good rooms. The whole hotel reminds me of hotels in Germany/ Austria/ Switzerland/ the Alps back in the 1950s but with wifi and friendly staff.

Was expecting a hotel with older and outdated rooms which was for the most part true and ok. However, the bathroom is not only outdated but in need of a renovation.

Fabulous location

Very small room with not much space to move around. Tired and needs upgrading.

Size of the balcony

Hotel is on the lake but a bit out of town. The room was large (as booked) but they stored a spare bed in the room, so was a bit smaller than it could be.

Bathroom a bit tired with a noisy suspended ceiling.

Great quiet location near the lake. The hotel is a bit rundown but I like that kind of charm. Breakfast is dull. Friendly reception
