Loved everything! Beautiful hotel one block from the lake. Lovely. Just lovely!

Stunning building, beautifully refurbished. Only 2 minutes walk to the lake, and in the old part of town. Easy on-street parking on the same road. Owners were very friendly and helpful with good suggestions.

The weather was warm, but we were told the AC would not be switched on. So we had to keep the windows open. Without curtains, there was little privacy from the street, and we were woken early by light and by the bin lorries each morning. Paper sellotaped to smaller windows to keep out the light was not the best look.

Our stay at Hotel Doltso was absolutely wonderful. The hotel combines historic charm with modern comfort, tucked on a beautiful, quiet street literally just steps from the lake and old town. The stone architecture and traditional design give the hotel so much character, the rooms are spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully furnished.The breakfast was a highlight—fresh, homemade, with lots of choices and eggs cooked to order The owners are warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. They even took care of laundry for us. Don’t miss their own farm grown walnuts BEST we’ve ever eaten, we bought a bag they’re so good!! The owners offered great tips for places to visit. They made us feel genuinely cared for.The location is perfect for exploring Kastoria on foot: close to the lake promenade, great tavernas, cafés, and the beautiful Doltso district and a short scenic drive to the Dragon cave and well preserved monastery. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting this magical town.

It was all amazingly good!!

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and all the staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. Everything is spotless and well-maintained. Although it’s not located right in the town center, it’s within comfortable walking distance of all the main attractions. The breakfast selection is decent, and we especially appreciated that eggs (or omelets) and coffee were freshly made to order. We’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but the room was quite small. We understand this is typical for the city, especially in renovated buildings that preserve their original architecture.

Very warm inside, amazing location, good breakfast

The Doltso Hotel has the charm of a historical mansion; once we stepped in the property, we were stunned by its deco and atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and we absolutely loved our room despite the size is not very big. However, it was very comfortable, beautiful, and with all the amenities we needed. Location is great in a historical district in Kastoria; right next to the square and the lake. Parking is also very easy.

I was very pleased with Hotel Doltso. The staff were friendly, approachable and professional. The rooms were spotless and quiet. The hotel is situated in a beautiful part of Kastoria with easy access to the lake, restaurants and a pleasant walk to other amenities.

Bed was a little too soft

Lovely guest house situated about 1 km from the main cluster of restaurants and shops in a good street that joins a community square where there are restaurants. We at ate Kalnterimi which was great. We really liked the local feel of the square. The lake is a few minutes away and there was private parking for our motorcycle in the courtyard which was a bonus. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed our stayed here.

The room was hot when we arrived, but we were given a water-cooled fan which fixed it.

Great location. Beautifully restored Kastorian home. Ask for the free use of their bicycles.

A beautiful old building in the centre of the city, vey close to the lake.

The room was rather small, but very well kept. This is the case with the old mansions.

This is a charming place in the center of town. The owners have done a superb job in preserving the family’s old house, restoring it to perfection. The owners and the staff are warm and polite.

Appreciating that to have a balcony the room had the Toilet designed at breathing distance from the bed and with a thin non sound proof glass door

Really good location, right on the corner of the old town and a great property. The property was very clean and well looked after. Rooms have everything you need, they also have exposed brick and the bathrooms are new. The Staff were the highlight of the hotel though, they were going above and beyond, were very friendly and polite. They really made a difference in terms of my stay there. I would go back in a heartbeat.

I didn't find a single thing not to like.

We always stay here when we visit Lake Kastoria. We love small boutique hotels and Hotel Doltso never disappoints. The breakfast is lovely, and they will make you an omelet or any kind of eggs cooked the way you like it, with bacon if you want. There is also a breakfast buffet and the orange juice is fresh squeezed. The beds are so comfortable and we always enjoy a good night's sleep. We are very picky about mattresses, and the beds are perfect for us. The owner and his wife are lovely people, friendly, speak great English, and will cater to your every need. We always enjoy our stay at Hotel Doltso and look forward to our next visit there. The location is great - restaurants and cafes close by and the lake is just half a block from the hotel. We highly recommend this lovely hotel.
