A palace within a palace. Stunning! Great location. Staff was very helpful.

Would have loved to have a better coffee machine. The twin beds could have been more comfortable. About 50 stairs up to the apartment. Let the staff help you if you have heavy bags.

Villa Nepos is located inside the walls of Diocletian Palace, with a fabulous view of the clock and square. The apartment was large and beautiful, a wonderful resting place for our family. Toma and Lovro were excellent hosts!

Location, well appointed, easy check in. Love the room -- quiet, a/c if you need it, small but very convenient kitchenette, bed very comfortable and soundproof rooms.

Very nice location and suite was comfortable. We were able to checkin earlier which was so nice since we had a toddler and also able to book another room to stay later in the evening since our flight was late at night. All the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Maybe turnover service with emptying trash and making the beds would be nice since we kept forgetting to take the trash with us.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay in this beautifully restored historic building with modern amenities. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, location is in the center of old town, within the Diocletian palace, 5 minute from the Riva and the ferry, breakfasts at 3 choices of nearby restaurants were all delicious, Tomislav made check-in and out very easy with great communication. Highly recommend this hotel.

The property was in an amazing location and the at downstairs served great drinks, which was a bonus. The apartment was huge and although it’s right on the main square it was super quiet!

What a pleasant stay we had here. The apartment is beautiful the location just inside the walls of the city, wow. The two guys who manage the hotel were beyond belief, so helpful and kind. What a wonderful place.

I loved everything about this properties. It’s in historic old building just inside the east gate, but all the facilities in the apartment are modern and function really well I mean, water, air conditioning, the lights, the plugs, the bathroom fixtures. And there is a washer dryer combination.. the staff communicates very well before hand and is very helpful on arrival

Location was absolutely great. Apartment was large with some luxurious features. Nice to have a washer and dryer in the middle of the trip!

Convenient location in the heart of the town. Easy walk to waterfront and restaurants.

Noise levels in the evenings when windows were open, but managed well with closing windows and turning AC on. First apartment we stayed in was a 4th floor walk-up, with a small elevator for luggage; AC was not working. Management moved us to 1st floor a few days later with good AC.

The location was fantastic and met our expectations. The bed was super comfy and the shower was a dream. The staff very nice, helpful and eager to make us feel as comfortable as possible. The breakfast in restaurant Central was also very good.

It felt a bit damp but that is probably not avoidable given the location of Split ?

The location, spaciousness and general cosiness. Our kids thought it was like our home. Staff 10/10

Our family enjoyed staying in this large 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of the palace.

We loved our stay at Villa Nepos and would recommend to anyone. The hosts were wonderful meeting us and carrying our bags to our room. The breakfast each morning was delicious and convenient. We wish our rooms had been in the same building but this was not possible. There were some flies in one of our apartments which were annoying. All in all we could not have been more comfortable in the heart of Old Split.

I liked the quick responses to communication. I liked being met and helped with luggage up the stairs. The apartment is beautiful. The location excellent. Tomislav and Lovro were very nice and helpful.

The photographs do not do the property justice. It is like living in history. The hotel/apartment is nestled between the historic remnants of the Roman world. The property itself is stunning and in keeping with its location. The staff at the property are very helpful and happy to suggest things to do and places to eat.

We came 5 years ago when it was brand new and absolutely loved our stay so coming back we wanted to book the exact same room but it seems they dont clean well.

There was BLACK MOLD in the showers, on the floors, corners, and walls. The shower drains are beyond clogged i had to cut my shower short because it was going to overflow, i had only showered for 5 minutes.
