    • Everything!Pre-communications through booking, a proper arrangement for someone pick us up from the bus station.A most welcomed reception with all the details introduced to us, where to visit, how to go to the location we planned to have the island tour, everything!Breakfast boxes were arranged if we missed the breakfast period.Beach towels prepared since they know we were going snorkeling the following day.Helped to book a taxi with driver help picking up the luggage...It had been for sure the best experience so far in my experience of Europe hotels!Local is also super!

    Cons -

    • A few things didn’t work quite right - light switches would work and not work. Shower door was missing.
    • NothingWe loved everything!
    • Nothing! Just note that the rooms tend to be on the smaller side due to being in a historical building. That only added to the charm for us! We had plenty of room!

The location was perfect. The staff was so accommodating. Breakfast was so plentiful with made to order items as well. We had a very early flight so they had a bag waiting for us at checkout packed with sandwiches and fruit.

The hotel location is exceptional! The staff are top notch. The breakfast is great! The staff met us outside the walls to escort us to the hotel.

The staff was really nice, giving us a lot of good information on the city, history, restaurants, things to see… We loved the room, it was very comfortable and quiet, even in the middle of the old town. The breakfast was great, a lot of variety, and a nice opportunity to meet the other guests.

Authentic, clean, proximal to everything and so fun. I highly recommend!

I could have used 2 more pillows for support during sleep.

The hotel staff was amazing and very accommodating. We were picked up at the car park in the rain. The staff was drenched and we were too but they had many jokes about it. When we arrived at the hotel they offered us towels and drinks. The room was delightful and spacious. The breakfast spread was amazing and all made fresh daily.

No bar, but the room had a mini frug with drinks

My husband and I stayed at the Murum Heritage Hotel for 3 nights while visiting Split. It was the highlight of our two week European vacation! First, we absolutely loved the location and ambience. Everything was steps outside our door. Speaking of which, they provided someone to meet us outside the palace walls (no cars can get to the hotel). It was a fairly short walk, but our escort took care of the luggage so we could take in the stunning medieval architecture. We wove through narrow alleyways that I never thought I would figure out(you get the hang of it fairly quickly!). The convenience factor alone was worth the stay, but it was so much more than that. Knowing we were there celebrating our 10 year anniversary, they surprised us by decorating our room with balloons and providing a bottle of local sparkling wine, as well as a fresh fruit bowl. From start to finish they went above and beyond from making us dinner reservations, to providing beach towels for our beach visit, to delivering ice when requested. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Being in such a boutique style hotel means high end customer service and they did not disappoint!! I can’t recommend this hotel enough and will absolutely be back to stay in the future!!!

If I was extremely nit picky (and this is a very minor detail), I would suggest a floor fan for the terrace. We stayed in July and it was very hot. We loved staying in the room with a terrace, but didn’t end up staying outside too long since there wasn’t much of a breeze (not shocking being surrounded by stone walls). The air conditioning was perfect, so it wasn’t a big deal, but a fan could help on the hot Summer days and nights.

Located in the heart of the Diocletian Palace, this gem of a small boutique hotel was a delight. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the room and bed very comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful.

This is an amazing little hotel, right in the heart of Diocletian's Palace and in fact our room featured some of the original walls. Although small, it's been designed really well and very stylish. Staff went out of their way to help us and could not have been more friendly. Beds super comfy and breakfast was great. I would recommend to others!

A coffee machine in the room please!

    10francoPosted on: 3-25-2025

Well appointed with very friendly staff in a good location.

This hotel proved to be an excellent choice for our stay. The service was consistently outstanding, and we particularly want to commend Katja for her exceptional assistance. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with valuable recommendations for sightseeing, dining, and navigating the city. Her insights into the local history and culture were a welcome bonus. The hotel's location in the heart of the old town is ideal, allowing easy access to major attractions. Housed within 4th-century walls, the building itself is quite remarkable. Our room was tastefully decorated and offered a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others seeking a charming and historical base for their travels. The combination of its unique character, prime location, and attentive staff make it a true standout.

There is absolutely nothing not to like about the property.
