The location is of the hotel is excellent and we really liked the top room because it has two sleeping areas so perfect for our family. The breakfast looked amazing but because we had to leave before it started they made four to-go versions which was so nice. What stood out the most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They gave us recommendations for the one day that we were in Split and all of them exceeded our expectations. We had an incident with a lost iPhone and they went out of their way to help facilitate the return and it wouldn’t have been possible without them, so huge thank you!

I wish we could have stayed longer because Split has a lot to offer

All the staff and amenities were great - we loved the location within walking distance of the old city attractions but in a quieter neighborhood staying next to locals as well as other tourists. Breakfast was amazing each day with a wide variety of fruits, pastries, meats & cheese. Coffees and eggs to order and everyone was attended to with great care by Camilla. Mislav managed the front desk and was a warm host with plenty of good information about the city and its history. Definitely recommend!

Had to skip breakfast due to having to catch an early train. At the very last minute, the staff realized that we were going to miss breakfast and they quickly pulled together a breakfast basket for us. It saved the day for us!!

This hotel is run by family. And you can really feel that. It feels like coming home. Everytime staff also exceeded expectations. Breakfast was amazing too; not too big but included everyting what you needed. Fresh and local and made with heart and smile.

The hotel is absolutely stunning; very aesthetically pleasing with all the decor! My attic room was spacious and super clean! I also loved how the TV apps included Netflix so that I could enjoy my favorite shows during my stay. Last but certainly not least, I cannot stress the friendliness and above and beyond service delivered by the staff! Everyone was incredibly personable and helpful. I unfortunately caught a stomach flu right before checking in and they were extremely accommodating and helped me through it tremendously. I cannot thank you all enough for such a wonderful stay! I hope to return in the near future and book here again!

Excellent breakfast made by friendly Anna. She gave us great local travel advice and packed us a lunchbox for very early flight.The location can’t be beat and the hotel was VERY quiet at night. We will stay here again!

The hotel is run like a family business and treat you as if you are family too. The staff is wonderful and full of valuable suggestions that made our short stay much more enjoyable. The property is very well located, right next to the ancient palace.

Very comfortable small hotel in a beautifully renovated historic building. Our attic room was spacious with comfortable living area separate from bedroom. Location was very convenient to sights of Split but away from tourist traffic. Breakfast was well done with many options. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff was very attentive. The location was great because it was close to everything but outside the crazy tourist noise of Old Town.

The AC was not as cold as we would have preferred

There was a bad smell in the room, like damp. Also, when they made up the room, they didn’t clean the bathroom!

We stayed at this sweet little family run hotel for two nights in Split after touring the country for 10 days. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, even doing a load of wash for us since our kids had started to run out of clothes. There was a cute little breakfast buffet and the host made us eggs to order each morning. It was the perfect start to our day.

Hotel Camera is a hidden gem. Just off the marina in a delightful neighborhood. Even. Michelins restaurant in the square. Quiet,comfortable and completely charming.
