Amazing breakfast. Wide range, catered for vegans as well. Made my Mom's birthday extra special with a surprise birthday yummies. Much appreciated.

I felt the spa was overpriced. It's out of reach for locals.

Breakfast / room All good , except we would have liked Welcome drinks at the spa and dinner the pricing seemed off , I.E Kinglip was charged at 170 but a burger was R195 ? what a beautiful and an amazing experience and fun was definitely had:)

What an amazing location, only made better by the excellent service provided by all the staff, and the facilities made available for guests. Easily the highlight of our trip to South Africa, Arabella will be a constant destination for future trips.

There was a water outage and we did not have water pressure for some of the time. But that is a once off and I enjoy every time I to Arabella

We love this hotel. It has everything you need for a break or even a longer holiday. The facilities are excellent with a spa and beautiful pools. The food at the restaurant got better over the years, we really enjoyed out dinner there. Room service was also good and the staff is very attentive and helpful. We come here with my husband (and with my kids in the past) for over 20 years, if we would like a little rejuvenation or relax. And beyond all of this, there is a beautify lagoon and golf course to look at or play at. Even the life music makes your stay more enjoyable at the weekend. Highly recommend it to anyone, who wants to stay in a world class hotel.

The rainforest should be renovated in the SPA... it is out of action for a long time. It is a superb experience when it is done properly. It should be priority as it is out of order for over a year!!

Breakfast was good

Room cleanliness needs to be relooked - not thoroughly cleaned.Toilet "long-flush" didn't work. No shelves in the shower - inconvenient.Aircon didn't work. General maintenance of rooms not inspected, it would appear.Spa pools/sauna opens at 08h00, and closes at 20h00. I feel the hours needs to be reconsidered?It seems the cleaning staff is "understaffed" The Lady only came to clean our room at about 13h00 on our first day of stay, and that was only because i stated my unhappiness, They also made our Family members wait until 15h00 to book in as their room was not ready. After communicating our concerns to the Manager, it was not satisfactorily handled. All our concerns were communicated to him, but he did not bother to provide feedback to us at all. As though it was just "all-talk". The professionalism of the staff is very much lacking at the resort. It is as though they have now employed "unqualified" amateurs, lacking in professionalism or the ability to deal appropriately in client liaison. An under-whelming experience and not the caliber of professionalism we have become used to at the Arabella

We enjoyed the spacious of the room and it’s clean and the nice view either toward the garden or toward the lake. The breakfast was very nice well organised and well served

During our stay there was no water in the toilet for two days. while we understand this issue is not within the hand of the hotel. The management has dealt with this very poorly.During this issue which last for two nights there was no compliment services nor there is any offering to address the issue.Rather than sticking with our previous planning to stay for two nights in the hotel, we ended up spending most of the time outside the hotel because there wasn’t any water in the pipeline.

Breakfast is a feast - the staff are lovely, friendly and very attentive. Love the hydro pool and sauna facilities.

There were kids in the hydro pool one evening, which is supposed to be against their policy.

The service was outstanding, whilst all staff did a great job, Bonginkosi Mfiki was outstanding.The service from him and the team certainly made our stay pleasurable.In addition to service , the views and breakfast was exceptional

The Restaurant in the evening is really in need of a revamp. The wine list is really over priced as well as the menu!!

We really liked the location and friendliness of staff who were going out of their way to welcome my wife and I. The place was really realizing for a quick long weekend getaway.

Breakfast time seemed a bit short staffed as we had to wait for tables to be cleared before we could sit. A lot of tables were left and not cleaned

Rooms are clean,comfortable, and spacious. The breakfasts are really good. They accommodate your food allergies, and staff are helpful.

The TVs in the rooms are a bit old, otherwise everything was lovely
