Saldanha Bay Hotel

This hotel was amazing,the food was delicious and the staff was very professional, everyone was very friendly and helpful.i would definitely be going back soon,had the time of my life,I was very impressed.

the location was very relaxing

Our bathroom was very unpleasant. The extractor fan did not work causing the bathroom to fill with moisture and be wet after each family member had a bath. As the bathroom has no windows and extractor fan, toilet odours filled the room which was very unpleasant. The hall and garden door had to be open, even at night. This made us feel uneasy especially having kids sleeping. We reported it upon arrival. I spoke to the manager on duty before my check-out to express my dissapointment. She was to get back to me via email. I have not recieved any communication since.

The lounge, restaurant, pool and view are great. The staff is very friendly.

The shortage of towels in the hotel was a challenge for all guests. The bar takes quite a bit of time to provide drinks, up to 30min. The shower head was partly broken and the freezer compartment of the fridge was leaking.

Excellent accommodation with fabulous views. Great service, staff were welcoming and attentive. Lovely facilities with outdoor spaces, pool and bar lounge all on the bay.

Breakfast was lovely

No towels when we checked in. Towels only arrived at 11 pm, when the room was supposed to be ready for occupation at 2 pm.

The overall experience was excellent - room was good, breakfast was good, restaurant experience was good and the massage.

The aircon in the room was a bit noisy

The activities were fun for the kids, the holiday program they had was also great. The breakfast was excellent!

Waited too long for our dinner, staff shortage on the day i believe.

The breakfast was great but not the supper. The children's menu didn't have enough. The swimming pool was great and the children's play area both indoor and outside

There was an extra plug next to the beds, the children couldn't enjoy themselves playing late at the park because certain guests were complaining so when I asked the manager were any rules and regulations regarding playtime the manager could only advise about respecting each other at that moment I wanted to take my children and returned home. I think guests who have toddlers should be far away from the park. Then it was the supper menu. Kids love pizza, but there was nothing like that, and the adult menu was also not satisfying, and for breakfast, there was no fish dish present or pancakes. The baked bread was cold and stiff. I would have loved to dip myself into a jacuzzi, but there was nothing like that, and the TV channels were not enough, no YouTube or Netflix channels. Not everyone enjoys DSTV.

Too many factors did not justify our price, including poor blankets, overall hotel quality, atmosphere, and the breakfast quality.

I loved room 108. It looked over the ocean. The breakfast was great! Room service and house keeping were excellent.

While the room 108 was perfectly placed to view the ocean, the rugby team made A LOT of noise. they gymed 3 mornings out of the 5 that we were here. The pool next to our room was poorly maintained as well, dirty with sand. the rugby team was there this morning as early as 9am singing at the top of their lungs. so as much as the place is beautiful, it's not tranquil. This is not where you wanna come if you want peace.

Very nice, spacious, and clean room (we had the suite). Staff were attentive and friendly, and the breakfast was decent.

Elevator music playing in the lounge and dining room - it's not the 90's anymore!

The buffet breakfast was good. The hotel has beautiful surrounding views.

Maintenance issues like a sliding door out of its track, and a front door that does not close properly without force.

There was a lot of noise, i could hear even the footsteps upstairs and the doors kept banging. And people after the wedding event were very loud the whole night. The stuff didn’t bother to tell them to tone it down. We booked for 2 nights and left after 1 night there was no way we going to spend another night there. And the rooms has ants even in the bathroom

When we walked into the room, there was a doggy happy birthday towel cake and 2 balloons on the bed, was a lovely extra. We really enjoyed the family activities, jumping castle, easter egg hunt, chess board, play park, indoor games, the whole family had fun. The pool was lovely, family friendly and the food was exceptional. Great value for money. The views were beautiful.
