MIL810 Ushuaia Hotel

Excellent staff.

No airconditioning.

Location.

A bit characterless and blend. No distinguishing features. A bit dark lighting in the bathroom. Not so great breakfast offers.

The price was fair and their staff was very kind and good location.

Breakfast was very basic. Did not offer a good cereal Breakfast nor eggs and all the juices were not natural.

Noisy during weekend. Hostel El Refugio is next to hotel. Expect loud music from 10 pm till 1 am.

Hotel is on the slop. At night time, cars engine makes a lot of noise, like motorcycles without mufflers. But it is not a problem of the hotel.

Overcharged me at the end of the stay. They took off some of the erroneous charges but I didn’t have time to work through all of them as my uber was waiting to take me to my flight. Breakfast was okay at best. They charge extra for a small plate of plain scrambled eggs.

* the breakfast itself could've been better - there wasn't much choice aside from bread and various spreads* the rooms had no water kettle nor there was easy access to one, which would've been nice for loading a thermos before heading out hiking.

Hotel was convenient to downtown but the hills were difficult to handle on foot. The room was clean and comfortable but too hot to sleep without the window open. Breakfast was minimal but tasty.

Traffic was loud and active on the Friday night and heard until very late because the window had to be kept open to counter the heat.

Pleasant and comfortable rooms. Nice hot showers. Decent breakfast.

Up a steep hill! And the hotel was too warm everywhere for my liking. Wifi was only so-so in the room but ok elsewhere.

The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. We arrive at the hotel early, thankfully the hotel has a place to store our luggage's while waiting to check in, we left our luggage's at the hotel, came back to check in. The staff is very helpful and smooth transition. Very satisfied. Breakfast is very good and plenty and has a very nice view of the Beagle Channel. Staff are courteous. Location of the hotel is excellent walking distance from the restaurants and place to book excursions. The hotel is clean and bed is comfy. This place is highly recommended.

i really enjoyed the mil810. got a great last minute deal which helped given general level of prices in ushuaia. the hotel is central, very clean, nice views and great staff. showing a little wear in places but that is to be expected given salt air...parking can be challenge but drive around nearby blocks and will surely find one. wifi was not fastest but good enough. breakfast was basic but had all i needed.

Nothing good enough to bring us back to this hotel.

It was an average stay which let itself down on the last night. We returned from a New Year meal to be wished 'goodnight' by the reception staff. We used the bathroom, turned on the taps, and there was no water! We have traveled in Africa and are used to this - rule one is don't flush the toilet until you really need to! Phoned reception, and yes, now they warned us that their pump had broken and there was no water. We asked for 3 small bottles of water to clean our teeth and get us through the night. In the morning still no water - two more bottles from reception. We had no water in the room for 12 hours and they tried to charge us for the 5 emergency bottles!

The location is just a few blocks from the main street that runs through Ushuaia. It's very near restaurants and stores. Staff was friendly, room was clean, beds were comfortable (with good pillows--a rarity in Latin America!), and breakfast has plenty of options.

You do have to walk up a steep hill to get to the hotel, but we didn't have any issue with that. Room was warm at night, but windows open nice and wide (and we were there at a time without bugs so it was perfectly fine).

The breakfast is pretty poor with no hot meal ( scrumbled eggs, sausages, bacon, etc) only 2 types of cereals without any regular toppings and only 2 types of loaf bread and one cheese and hamOnly one type of juice ( “orange”) no yogurt but strawberry drinking yogurt and water. very basic room

Location is great. Within walking distance of town. Good value. Basic but perfect as a base. Staff nice. Room pretty big.

Early check in is not allowed. Most of the people who come to Ushuaia for Antarctic expeditions only. So, either embark on ship or disembarking. Disembark means mostly on morning of the day. They providing standard check in 1-2pm . Even I had flight same night 10:30pm . I won’t stay whole 24hr . They refuse to provide me stay in morning. Once the check in hours comes they provided the room.

The view was very poor . The breakfast was very basic . For the price they could do better . No help for people’s doing early adventure when you have breakfast included .

The location is really in the center, but you should take him into consideration that you have to climb up a hill to get into the hotel

We were left without running water for about more than 12 hours and then an extra 18 hours without hot water so we couldn’t take a shower, and we never got a recompensation
