Hotel Canal Beagle

The location is excellent! Especially for catching a ship sailing from Ushuaia

Dated room, needs updating. Door auxiliary lock did not work, pillows on bed were unusable because of their size and firmness.

Was not expecting this modern upscale hotel. Room was spacious, very comfortable and very clean breakfast was creative and bery good.

Onlything lacking were adequate USB ports. Between my wife and i we needed 8 ports whick is probably not unusual these dsys

Location was great.

Breakfast was the exact same all 4 mornings. Wait staff was not friendly. Had to ask for refills on buffet line three different times. Hotel room was worn. Safe was broken and took us asking about twice.

Great breakfast, quick access to the port and nearby museums. Gorgeous hotel. They have a spa too, though we didn’t have time to check it out.

The location is excellent.

However, the bathroom had no ventilation, which caused a sewage smell in the room. The internet quality was very poor. Breakfast was repetitive with a limited menu, especially the hot breakfast option

The hotel is decent, the spa is a bit old but fine. My issues with them was with their service, which is clearly subpar for a 4 stars hotel

I booked one night (27-28 Nov) at Beagle one week before my staying. After two days, my plans changed so I made a new reservation (was going to arrive in Ushuaia one day later, so I booked a new room 28-1). Once I confirmed this new reservation, I asked for a refund on my initial reservation. Beagle had a non refund policy on booking, but I though they might have been flexible given I was still going to be a customer for 4 nights. After multiple messages on the booking chat, they finally got back to me 4 days after by saying they couldn't issue a refund. I was bummed but still had hope to solve it in person.Comes Nov 28, I arrive in Ushuaia in the morning and immediately bring up this topic at the front desk. The representative told me they could issue a refund but that I had to call booking first and have them call/send an email to Beagle. I do that (international call which cost $15), Booking calls Beagle (no answer) and they send them an email. In the afternoon, I go back at the front desk to check the status and they tell me that the "reservation office" people are out of office as they work 12-2pm (lol). And here my odyssey begins:I get told to text the reservation office number, which I do and no reply. I ask to meet with one of their representative the day after; I am told they will be there at 9am, I wait 1 hour in the lobby and nobody shows up. I am told again to call the reservation office number ( no reply). I text them again on whatsapp during work hours and I get an automated message (even if the message was sent during work hours and especially seeing the last seen at a time after my message, hence they ignored me on purpose). After 4 days of trying I finally got to meet with someone (who wasn't even part of the reservation office) and he tells me they can't refund me. The issue for me here wasn't about the refund, but about the flexibility and the fact of being made fun of as they kept me hanging.

What a great location - center of the city and I enjoyed my stay. Room was cozy, comfortable, clean and great customer service. Used Spa and their pool/sauna - it was wonderful. Breakfast was simple but it was good enough for me. Almost across from the taxi stand. Easy to get around. Highly recommend for anyone.

I cannot think much... except a connecting building between old and new was a bit complicated. Temperature was difficult to adjust as there were nothing to adjust.... Lights in the room was okay, but could use some. Over all, it was great stay and I highly recommend.

Asked for a quiet room and was given one on the inside courtyard - it was very quiet and we had a restful sleep. The breakfast was quite nice and it is ideally located in the centre of the city. We also arrived quite early after getting off a ship and they happily stored our luggage.

Stayed twice (2 nights and 1 night) in March 2025. Location is excellent, near plenty of shops and restaurants, as well as the pier for my cruise ship. Check in and out was efficient but the attitude of the front desk staff was a bit cold. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, though could do with more hangers and some wall hooks. Breakfast was tasty with more than adequate variety. Hotel had several large areas with comfortable sofas and chairs, as well as power points, to wait in between check out and cruise ship embarkation and between cruise ship disembarkation and check in. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were very friendly.The hotel is very central - with the port right in front and the main high street just behind.The spa was the best hotel spa I've ever visited!

The hotel was ok. The location to reach the busses and restaurants was great.

The constant hooning of motorbikes throughout the night made catching any sleep impossible. We had booked three nights and were very exhausted afterwards.

good place in the center of the city and room are clean and , fair breakfast but nothing extraordinay. nevrtheless food quality of the restaurant can be much improved.

MY WIFE WANTS A TUB AND I TRY PROVIDE THIS WHEN BOOKING.NONE WERE AVAILABLE.THE EXEC SUITE WAS VERY BASIC.

Confortable room allthough not large enough.Labirient like corridors in the newly extended part of the hotel and it was difficult to find the room. Very good location.

Good hotel with an excellent location in the city of Ushuaia. Very close to shopping streets and restaurants. facility is in renovation but so far upgrades look very good. Very easy to reach from the airport.

The rooms seem to small for my preference, but in overall it was ok.
