- Everything was lovely! The receptionist (Nice) was incredibly welcoming, and the owner, George, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. All the staff were very helpful, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for excellent hospitality and a comfortable stay!
- **A Perfect Stay Well Definitely Be Back!** We absolutely loved our stay at Zanzibar Retreat Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Nice, the receptionist, warmly welcomed us and generously upgraded our room from a Garden View (which looked lovely) to a stunning Ocean View Room, since it was low season. We also received complimentary welcome drinks a thoughtful touch. The food was outstanding every single night, and the staff made our experience even better. Special thanks to Lusekelo, Atanasi, and Hussein for being incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely warm throughout our stay. The location is unbeatable Matemwe Beach was by far the best we visited during our trip (and we had stayed at both Bwejuu and Jambiani). Its peaceful, immaculately clean, and boasts endless stretches of white sand. The hotel itself is cosy yet spacious, with plenty of relaxing spots including hammocks, loungers, and a clean pool. The overall atmosphere was tranquil and inviting the perfect end to our Zanzibar trip. Highly recommended, and well definitely return.
