Pros +
- Professional respectful staff that led me to a clean, well-appointed room. Enjoyed the courtyard area, great location in the historic district.
- Excellent location, within walking distance to everything of interest. The building itself is very beautiful and everything is very clean. We enjoyed our three night stay as a family and regardless of certain points of possible improvement, we would happily return. We ate breakfast at the hotel only one morning but it was fresh and acceptable.
- Clean, fantastic location, friendly host. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin, you can literally hear whispers from outside. I staid here the last 2 days of ramadan, and people stayed up later than usual, so it was was impossible to sleep until 2-3am. Then it got quite until morning.
Cons -
- Noticed a lot of work had been done on my room. However, the silicone sealant on the shower pan was rotted (quick fix), making a slip and fall hazard in the bathroom.
- Konagi is Turkish word meaning old mansion. But when you opt for this aesthetic it comes with certain, minor sacrifices. The stone walls have been retrofitted with modern electricity and in our family room, unless the fridge and TV were unplugged, there was only one power outlet available. This wasn't the most convenient as we were three people occupying the space. Also, the wifi router is in the courtyard and the signal doesn't penetrate the stone walls successfully, meaning service inside the room is unstable. The hot water in the shower took a very long time to get warm, and never did get hot. But as Gaziantep has such hot weather at the end of June, when we visited, it was no problem. The boy who received us upon check-in was unfriendly. Or perhaps he is just shy and I am misinterpreting the situation, which no doubt was complicated due to the language barrier. Either way, working reception isn't the correct position for him. It was much more gratifying interacting with the manager, who was helpful and made us feel welcomed.
- It was not soundproof. We heard so much noise both from outside/street and from within the hotel. The heat isolation was not good for the room. The room was cold at night.

It was authentic and traditional place to stay in Gaziantep. Everything was in a walking distance, the location was very convenient.
It was not soundproof. We heard so much noise both from outside/street and from within the hotel. The heat isolation was not good for the room. The room was cold at night.
The location is superb. Staff was friendly and professional, the room was spacious with character. Shout out to the taxi driver Mr Fikret. I traveled alone and arrived the airport passed the midnight, I was a bit worried. But Mr Fikret was so friendly and kind (despite doesn't speak much English), he made me feel at ease like a lovely uncle and offered me tea while I was waiting for the check-in. I enjoyed the stay at Sirvani Konağı.
Very cozy looking Nice rest roomTraditional style Decent breakfast don’t forget to order the morning CorbaAsk for taxi from hotel to the airport it was really good price
If you hate climbing stairs this otel not for you The road is a bit difficult with bags
Absolutely stunning place in the centre of Gaziantep. Very kind and helpful staff, cleanliness, decor, atmosphere. Everything was perfect! I couldn’t expect more for this price. The breakfast was simple but very good. The receptionist was super kind. I can’t recommend this place more!
The location is great, only 100 metres from the castle and just a short walk to the bazar. It is a charming old building with inner garden where you can sit and enjoy a cup of tea. The owner is very pleasant and speaks basic English. Rooms are comfortable and warm (we stayed during winter) although a bit dated. The bathroom was spacious wiha great shower.
There is no place to hang coats/jackets in the room. There was strong chlorine smell in the bathroom. The bathroom was very cold as there was no glass on the window.
Traditional place, good value for money, central location, delicious breakfast.
+ location is perfect. Near the historical city and bazaar+ staff is very kind and helpful+ room is comfy, big and clean+ breakfast is ok and tasty
- room cleaning service is absent but we asked for towels and toilet paper and get them asap- maybe a better breakfast should be served
it was close to city centrum, there was water for everyone
Bed wasn't comfortable, however it could be even worse. Outdated room, for such price we expected much more. Shower was broken, literally 90% of water came from the broken base of shower, but not from the shower at all.
Great location for visiting all the museums in town. Easy to get to from the airport as Havas is only 10 minutes walk. Very nice boutique hotel which one does not find everywhere.
Locals need to stop revving their motorcycles.
The location couldn't have been closer to most of the main attractions. The parking is locked at night and security cameras are rolling. The staff is literally working around the clock.
The best place in Gaziantep. Very close to the old city and walking around in the city center. Very cosy and nice rooms, very comfortable and clean. Wonderful court, where you can relax and enjoy the evenings. Delicious breakfast. We have had very nice stay there.
Quirky but comfortable.the staff were brilliant and very helpful, they did my washing and would not let me pay,
Really nice courtyard area,.good breakfast and location was very central.
A little more expensive than in other cities in the region. Staff knew little English but we got by using google translate.
Comfy room with ensuite bathroom in a quiet location close to local amenities.
Very strict check-in time of 1pm. Staff made it clear I wasn't able to check in earlier, which was a little bit disappointing.
The location is very nice, near the main attractions, quiet and a parking car nearby. The owner was helpfull.
A poor breakfast and a lot of bed bugs, so be very careful. For us, was a very very bad experience with the bed bugs.
A good value for money, Mr Ali, the owner is a very friendly man, so helpful. The hotel is like a traditional peaceful place to stay in. Very close to most places of interest. I will book it again.
The breakfast is good but includes very basic items. But the good value for money perhaps justifys this.
The location is perfect, close to carsi bazaar and kale. The staff are all nice and friendly.
Noise street, at night the neighborhood did not look very safe. Neighbors were making noise.
