Ko Tao Paradise Resort

It has a lovely view. They provide shuttles to and from the hotel at no cost.

Extremely outdated. Extremely. Maybe when it was built it was a luxury resort, but now days it’s pretty bad. From brown tiles in the bathroom, to aging wooden furniture, it isn’t worth the price, at the price it costs you would expect someone much better. Also, the breakfast is sad, don’t bother with it, just go out to eat. Also, there were ants.

Very good hotel, staff are very friendly.

The room was not as clean as I expected We had ants on the bed and the bath wasn’t clean, the stuff did came fast to clean everything up but it was a little disappointing and made us fell uncomfortable There is a lot of stairs

The staff is very friendly!The views and pool are amazing.There is a free shuttle to the beach and town below.Room was a little dated but spacious and comfortable. No place to hang aol the towels and TV wasnt modern, but AC worked great and wonderful water pressure in the shower- which are the important stuff.We traveled with kids and having a restaurant on site was very comfortable.We really enjoyed the stay.

This place is on a hill. It has beautiful views. Nice pool and friendly staff. They do provide some transportation to pier and main village/beach on a schedule. You can walk to the beach that is nearby and they provide continuous transportation to that beach. WhatsApp is good way to communicate with staff.

We knew this but it is 20 minutes away from the main town. Also, this resort is heavy on the stairs so not handicap/stroller friendly.

The view from the swimming pool was amazing and the shuttle bus to the pier/beach was helpful.

I have never left a negative review before but the way we were treated by the staff in this hotel was shocking. Firstly, we were staying at another hotel in Sairee so messaged to ask if we could please be picked up in the morning during their shuttle service. We got a very blunt reply saying they only picked up the from the pier. I replied saying it says on your website you do a pickup from Sairee beach, and they just sent me the timetable, nothing else. So when I replied saying yes can we please get the shuttle then, where is the garage (we had tried to Google maps it), the response I got was “You can search on the google map”. So incredibly unhelpful. They never confirmed so we just turned up hopeful they would come.Secondly and more worrying, at the hotel we got served raw chicken satay for dinner which we both ate a part of. The chicken wasn’t just slightly pink, it was still clear and rubbery, completely uncooked. The staff didn’t seem very surprised or apologetic. They took it off the bill but argued with us when we said it’s very dangerous to serve raw chicken. We asked for the manager and when doing so had 3 of the staff members stood crowding us while one of the waiters shouted at us that raw chicken isn’t dangerous. It was a very uncomfortable and intimidating situation for 2 young female guests. The manager came and threatened us with the tourist police because she thought we were refusing to pay for the meal. I explained to her that we had never said we wouldn’t pay for the food, but we were shocked in how we were being treated like we were in the wrong. She eventually agreed to take our drinks off (2 bottles of water and a beer) and said she was sorry that her staff had “bad at English”. Their English was very good and I felt sorry for how she was speaking about them in front of them. In the morning, the staff just stared at us, it felt very hostile and when we checked out, there was no mention of any of it.

This place is like heaven on earth. You just disconnect completely from the rest of the world, while being here. The view and infinity pool are something you'll never forget. Always service minded and friendly staff. This was our 10th stay at this marvelous place - and we'll be back ❤️?

Not for people who don’t like climbing a hill. However not far from good beaches and decent restaurants.

The view was insane, the pool was great and the location was good - not central but close to amazing beaches and good restaurants.

The hotel is a little old and there were ants everywhere

The property is very scenic with some really nice views. Receptionist really helpful and on hand via WhatsApp to arrange shuttle service. Quite handy with the distance to the centre.

Staff, views from the hotel and poolside, food and facilities were all amazing! Loved the pool and the surrounding sight seeing. The staff really went above and beyond and we are so grateful. The hotel is a little dated as others have said but it wasn't a negative for us, we loved the look of the place - the hill to the hotel from the local town is no joke but there are courtesy buses to and from town so don't need to hike up and down all the time :) would come back again!

I have been returning to this hotel for many years and I am always very satisfied. Amazing view from the pool. Beautiful surroundings. Extra large and very well equipped rooms.Unfortunately, the lower part of the hotel, which was located directly on the beach, is closed, but still this hotel offers everything I need.I will be happy to return to it, in future. I have visited the Koh Tao Island many times and in my opinion It is the best choice. What is great is that the hotel offers free unlimited transportation from the hotel to the beach and back all day and to the port and Sairee Beach several times a day.

The room with the jacuzzi bath was really spacious and had an amazing view. The pool was great and the restaurant had a good selection. Breakfast was good. It had transfer available which was great as it is quite secluded.

Hotels just a bit dated could do with some improvements

Extraordinary staffs! We had some little issues with payment and package. The manager and receptionists were very kind and willing to help. They were always smiling and welcoming us. We highly appreciate their hospitality.

Location was awesome, sunsets and sunrises from the restaurant. Room was spacious. Thai food was very good! Balcony view!! The free shuttle to Chalok beach and town and to and from Pier.

Balcony was too warm but the manager was informed to put fans and was very receptive.

The views are amazing. The pool was great. Staff really helpful. Breakfast good.

Could hear people talking in the next room probably because we had an interconnecting door. Bathroom flooded when we had a shower. The free hotel shuttle bus was great but you need to tell them every time you wish to use it.

The location is wonderful. Steep hill to get up but you can what’s app for the shuttle if your going local. Or a small fee for further. Staff there are wonderful. Helpful and polite. Room was very spacious with the most spectacular views. The only slight negative was the beds are quite firm.

The beds are quite firm. I personally prefer a softer bed.

The most beautiful hotel, friendliest staff, stunning pool, gorgeous breakfast, lovely room with sea view and free shuttle was amazing, very helpful.

Amazing View from balcony , and privacy peace and quiet, and you have great staff.
