Wind Beach Resort

Close proximity to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants, yet tucked back from the main road.

Was loud at night because of all the beach bars.

Loved the bar and live music. Breakfast was decent and location was central with easy tour boat access.

The room was advertised as deluxe double with balcony. It was ground level with a walk in sliding door. The room itself was in poor condition. No hot water 2/4 days, and even worse 2 afternoons had zero water to the room. Sliding entrance door lock had us locked in or out a few times, had to call the front desk to get out. This is a serious safety issue. Bifold bathroom doors were both in disrepair and need replacement. We couldn’t close the doors to use the bathroom which also meant we had to keep our curtains closed so people walking by couldn’t see in. We had caterpillar/worms in our room every day. There was a terrible sewer smell coming from the toilet and/or shower drain. We notified reception about everything and received little to no help-bandaid fixes only. Old bed which creaked and squeaked, felt like it was cracked down the middle.***reception is only open 8am-9pm, and there is no security. There are young people partying on the beach and walking, talking, yelling up and down the access road all night long. Tough place to sleep and feel secure especially on the ground floor where anyone can try to access your room.

The hotel itself is nice and staff etc all great. The problem is there is pounding club music from the bar next door till 12am every night. Fine if you’re in KT to party not if your a family or their to dive.

Great location! Close to amazing restaurants and right on the beach. The room was really nice. Clean and I loved the balcony. The pool was great and right in the beach. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to the pier was a nice bonus.

The room had a noticeable damp smell.It's quite noisy during the evening.A lot of mosquitoes.

Rooms were disappointing with a slight damp smell. Breakfast was poor. .Pool was nice with a swim up bar. Staff in the bar were friendly and it was my favourite part of the resort, right on the beach to watch sunsets. Beach is ok to socialise on but not great for swimming or sunbathing, unless you like a beanbag. This hotel is perfect if you want to be right in the middle of all the action.

Good rooms, great location on beach and good restaurant but noisy at nights as our room was near the road and other bars loud till 1am. Friendly and helpful staff.

Good location, right next to Sairee Beach. Very spacious and comfortable room and bed. Nice balcony. Cute little family of squirrels on the trees. Gentleman in reception was friendly and organised us a transfer to the port for a 7am ferry.

Cleanliness of the room, there were little bugs on the wooden furniture and layers of dust here and there. Zero water pressure for showering. The walls and doors could literally be made of paper and I wouldn’t know the difference but I guess that’s just what comes with staying in Koh Tao - Sairee beach with all the music and crowds.

Had a wonderful 4 nights at Wind Beach. Very comfortable rooms in a great location, slept brilliantly every night in our 2nd floor room despite not being far from the main road. Housekeeping was spot on, and fresh drinking water was provided every day. Staff on reception were excellent and super helpful.

Water pressure in the shower wasn't great but was fine.

Good value for money.

Rooms near Sairee crossroads are close to loud music that goes on until early hours. Ask for room nearer beach for quieter stay but sometimes late music there too. We asked to be moved and second room was much better.

The facilities were good. The breakfast was pleasant and the staff were helpful. I enjoyed the shuttle bus and the pool. The beach was excellent especially at sunset. Had a nice massage too at the spa on site.

The noise of the surrounding clubs was a bit much and there was little that we could do to block out the noise except sleeping with ear plugs.

The location was great. Close to the beach and restaurants. The staff was wonderful, helpful, and so accommodating.

The hotel was falling apart. The bedside lamp was hanging by its wires, the bathroom faucet was nearly detached, the handle to the bathroom door was hanging by one screw. The mattress was so uncomfortable. Overall it wasn’t a great experience.

Fantastic location Very close to beach and 7-Eleven. Really nice to be able to have breakfast on the beach front. The rooms were huge, air-conditioning good and balcony is lovely. Ask for a room on the second or third floor facing the garden. Those too close to the beach or the road can be noisy although the beach bar often closed before 12 and actually the sounds were good.

The bed was a little hard but okay and the shower blocked occasionally. Breakfast was a bit limited but there was good coffee if you asked for it.

Good service, breakfast is ok, right in front of the beach, 7-11 is next to the hotel. Bathroom is spacious. Room is clean. Helpful staff

The smell of the room was slightly mouldy

Room was very clean and big. Pool was ok and just what we needed for two nights.

Unfortunately, at no fault of the hotels there are some really loud bars nearby that party well into the night.
