Lub d Koh Tao Tanote Bay

Loved everything here, the vibe is very relaxed and staff always so happy and helpful Variety in menu while all dishes sampled were great and Especially Nim and Dear were so considerate when I made a mistake with dates, and cancelled my booking with no fee incurred. Wait staff Olivia was efficient and full of entertaining information .Would gladly come back one day.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good. The room was clean and new. The beach is amazing!!! Beautiful and very good to snorkeling

However, the location isn’t great if you don’t have a motorcycle, since it’s not close to Sairee and taxis are expensive.

Amazing staff, amazing beach, amazing outdoor area, amazing room. It was expensive but worth it. The scooter ride there was a little scary but ultimately safe. Bring a snorkel!

The beach, scuba and happy hours were all great. Room was fabulous and the staff were incredible. Especially FIAT!!!

The attention, breakfast, beach front

There was a rat in the room and the staff was not available to resolve the problem in the moment.

We booked the superior bungalow which was set up a path amongst the trees.It was very private .Room was lovely .Large comfy bed , flat screen tv, fridge , en-suite bathroom , air conditioning.

The beach could do with more sun beds as there were not enough for the amount of guests staying there .

The staff was incredible, very kind and attentive. Especially Kiat! The hotel beach has the most amazing reef I've ever seen.

The food was ok, not the best. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from the main town so you either have to rent a motorbike or rely on taxis.

Great location, very nice room, huge bed and very friendly staff. We recommend the hotel to everyone who is looking for a very beautiful beach with best snorkeling and very friendly staff!

The hotel restaurant is not very good. Basic food. Breakfast is ok. The drain was stuck couple of times but they always came very quickly to fix it.

Amazing (not busy) beach you can rent snorkels at de dive-school you won't believe your eyes! The staff is so sweet and the food/big menu is really really good! You can eat/drink/order everything on the beach too! Had a great stay! Sad we had to leave

Best place from all visited in Thailand so far, new bungalow, very kind personal ( special regards for Kyat and New - you are the best, guys ), beautiful beach for snorkeling.

There are no stores in the area

It was a beachfront hotel in a perfect place to go snorkeling. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable

Good location and probably the best bay in Koh Tao. Good snorkeling! The staff is great and very polite. If I go to Koh Tao again I will chose the same hotel but differ t room.

I did not liked the shared bathroom at the standard Bungalow. I did not realize that the bungalow I booked it has a shared bathroom! I also did not liked the missing place to store closes.

Hotel is located in a very nice beach. Breakfast menu was great, we liked that is wasn’t a self service style. Our bungalow was spacious and clean. Staff was very kind - our son celebrated his birthday during our stay and they prepared a ‘fruit bear cake’ for him, as he’s allergic to dairy. It was a nice surprise for us too ? restaurant prepares delicious meals and portions are very generous.

I had a wonderful stay at Lub d Koh Tao! The location is fantastic—right by the beach, with a beautiful coral reef just in front of the hotel, perfect for snorkeling. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the stunning views. The service is truly exceptional; the staff is friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything.

However, there are few things that could be improved. While the breakfast menu offers a great variety of dishes, only one meal is included in the room rate. Sometimes, I found it not quite enough. Also, there’s no option to charge expenses to the room, so you always need to carry cash for food and drinks. The restaurant is rather pricey with average quality of food. Also, the aircon in the room is quite loud, even if switched on the low mode. But please don't get me wrong. It’s a fantastic place to stay, and I would definitely return!

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the facilities are extremely well thought out, the rooms are nice and the beds are comfy, the food was great and the menu is big enough that you can't get bored, the bar was great with daily happy hours... The compliments are endless! I'd stay here or at any other Lub d locations in a heartbeat, and we actually extended our stay after this booking because of how great it was.Also, There's a PADI dive shop attached to the resort, which made it super convenient for diving and snorkeling. The dive instruction was so accommodating and accessible.

There's not a lot to fault them on! The only thing I didn't love is the shared bathroom situation with standard rooms. Having stayed in both the superior room and then the standard room, I obviously have a preference, if only because of the noise that having a shared bathroom creates. Otherwise, I will definitely try to come back but only with a superior room ;)

What Booking forgets to tell u if u book STANDART BUNGALOW comes with SHARED BATHROOM !!! If there's a posibility u can upgrade to superior room for quite big sum of money. U get a superior room with superior price. Yet our room was dark!!, facing road and not nice at all. Could hear other guests from their rooms. The only plus was our own bathroom. It just spoiled our holiday.It's a bit out of the way of Koh Tao "town" so u need to rent a bike or pay taxi which is 400thb each way. Resort have an option of transport 100pp to the pier a way but it ends at 16-16.30.And no, u can't walk to town unless ure suicidal. The road is dark and very dangerous.Great staff!! Seriously the staff been soo lovely!!! Fabulous breakfast. Nice beach bar. Nice beach. U can actually swim. But needs more sunbeds.

STANDART BUNGALOW comes with SHARED bathroom!! Booking web DOES NOT MENTION!! We did pay for upgrade. Which cost a significant money. Superior room was not nice at all. Dark, facing road and quite loud. Its not Resort faul its this web!! Beach needs more sunbeds.

Thin mattress smaller then bedframe , linens clean but many holes, rosted fridge, Internet in room rarely available , ownership change started Renovation , Sadly for us at 8 in the Morning Even over christmas
