Ban's Diving Resort

It was right in the middle of everything. We did not have to go far to do things. The staff was very helpful with planning outings.

If you book a jungle house room - know that I is a long walk up the hill without a motorbike. It felt isolated up there. There was no room servicing all week. Some of staff very surly and unhappy - I consistently got ignored in the restaurant

The hotel is in a good location close to many bars/ restaurants and is right by the beach. They have shuttles to and from the pier which is comfortable. Breakfast was okay, same things every day and they close at 10 am which is disappointing for those who want to sleep in.

You could hear EVERYTHING from the neighbours room. People slamming doors, talking loudly outside and it felt like it was inside my room. This wasn’t just in the day time it was also at ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT. The toilet smelled terrible and had mold in the shower. Some rooms are uphill and some down. We had a motorbike so the fact that we stayed on the top of the hill wasn’t an issue for us. However, when we didn’t bring the motorbike the hotel provides a golf cart to take u down. The driver was incredibly impatient and felt like he was doing use a favor…

Pleasantly surprised! Our garden room was super cute and had all the amenities. We loved the custom toiletries that smelled so good and helped keep mosquitos away. Comfy bed and AC during those hot days. Our room was closer to the beach so it looks four into the gardens. There was lots of foot traffic for guests walking up the hill but we always felt safe and had curtains for privacy. Location was so easy and close to the main drag. Surprisingly we didn’t hear the bar in the evening. Amazing facilities across the street that we didn’t discover until the last day. There are amazing pools up the hill and gardens/farms to walk around. Explore the property! Breakfast was solid and lots of options for picky eaters. They offer a truck to the ferry which is convenient. We walked from the ferry when we arrived which is doable with a little luggage (~15-20min) but there are a few steep hills and dodging scooters if you have big luggages keep that in mind.

Walls in the garden rooms are a little thin. We heard our neighbors next door but it didn’t bother us because we fell asleep so quickly. Not sure about the rooms up the hill. Staff were a bit pushy and we felt rushed during check in/check out and if we had questions. It’s A huge resort so they are catering to many people but they could just slow down a bit.

I didn’t realise how noisy it would be! There is a Ban’s bar very close to the hotel and they play very loud music until 1/2am.

The location is excellent, the room was very large and spacious, and the property itself is beautiful and stunning.However, the room itself wasn’t clean, the towels and bed linens were dirty and stained. There were dozens of mosquitoes in the room even though all windows and doors were closed all day. No matter how many I killed (literally dozens), more kept appearing. There was also a lot of dust under the bed, and it was dirty.In addition, the staff was not very friendly. The hotel is very large, and every time I asked to be taken up by the golf cart, they refused and told me to walk instead, and I hurt my foot to days before so it was hard for me to walk all that way up to the room, But overall very beautiful place, very big and nice, I really loved the landscape there, and it makes my stay there very pleasant and special

The room was beautiful, modern, and very well-maintained. The hotel’s location is excellent, and the shuttle services provided were great and very helpful.

Our room located at the top of the resort, so you have to call and ask for a club car every time you want to go to your room or leave. Also, the breakfast was quite basic and disappointing.

Not worth the money. They don't mention that there are rooms that you have to walk up a crazy hill and the location is lying on the map because of that. Most of the rooms are on the main road and not on the promenade at all. They run shuttle services to the rooms upstairs supposedly 24/7 but in reality every night I came back there was no one available and you had to wait for who knows how long. Just expensive

Location is great. Rooms are spacious and clean. Variety of pools.

Nice staff, clean and pretty.

It’s a pretty crowded area and there is a lot of noise late at night but earplugs can work so it’s not that bad but still worth mentioning.

The central location is very convenient, everything along Sairee Beach was easy accessible by foot. The multiple pool areas, many relax areas and shade. The price for the facilities and location was excellent.

The standard room (cheapest option) has old bathrooms which are like wet rooms. The gym is advertised as included but you have to pay for daily use. The standard room is close to the main road and it's a bit loud at night.

The location was good

In our first room there were multiple live bugs in the bed upon removing the sheets. When reported to the staff was told it was “out of their control”. Only after pushing them did they offer to put us in a new room. Was sent on a wild goose chase between the two reception centers at the bottom and top of the hill to get help moving rooms, each telling me to talk to the other one for help. Was eventually reluctantly helped.

The crew were not friendly at all, didn’t help, the rooms had a bunch of ants and other insects all the time. Even the location is not the best.

Disgusting, gross not worth the price filled with bugs inside a jungle if you wanna go down you have to literally ask for someone to pick you up in a golf cart and pray they answer then wait around 10 min every time you wanna leave your hotelMoreover, in our room we had the smallest tv ever and a centipede and tons of bugs which was super scary it was like sleeping in the Amazon Jungle!!Do not book this hotel ever! Btw I went diving as well which was rainy as hell and the experience was awful and unprofessional as well.Disappointed I wish we could avoid this disgusting experience

We felt we paid a lot and in the beginning we got a bad room we didn’t book. And also we couldn’t get a discount for staying even though we did two diving courses

Clean, the pool

The breakfast is bad . The room are very dark. No light in the room. Transparent windows- no privacy. The shower is bad .
