There was a party until 2:00 in the morning and no one at the reception to talk to and apparently it’s every Friday

Great location in Koh Tao at the beach and very close to nice shops, great restaurants and fun bars. The room was spacious, clean and with great facilities. The pool was also nice, but we spent most of our time at the amazing beach. This hotel has some of the friendliest staff we've ever met. Booking.com said check in was from 14:00pm but we got there at 7:30am (took a night boat to Koh Tao). This was no problem at all and in half an hour they had our room ready.At checkout they gave us extra towels to enjoy one more afternoon at the beach and had free taxi service to the pier. We even forgot to ask for our key deposit, so i contacted the hotel the day after while we were already in koh samui, and they trusted us on our word and made it possible to get the deposit back.Would definetely go there again for vacation.

wasn't a good experience overall, I had to change room because what they game me at the beginning was really bad. Super dirty, bathroom looked like it came from a horror movie. And I'm not even kidding. Impossible to use.

The Bar downstairs plays VERY LOUD music until 2am…. I booked 2 nights here, but moved hotels as it was that bad. No refund… Immediately AFTER booking confirmation expect to receive this message :“Please also be informed again that we have mentioned in the important information about our hotel that Lotus Bar is near the property and is open until 02:00 am. Guests may experience loud noise from the music.”In future I’ll always read the property info, since this was certainly not anywhere obvious. Probably why they have this auto message, likely after all the complaints..On top of this the Aircon was broken and only pointed to the ceiling + there is a light right outside the window which shines thru the curtains.. I think it turns off sometime before morning. IF u stay here given the noisy bar music you’ll likely be awake to see when it does…

Way too noisy with bar party on beach until 2 am, everynight. Bathroom shower was extremely dirty. Would not stay again here.

We were terribly dissapointed with this hotel, we had to check out before our whole booking period because it was impossible to sleep in. First major problem was the smell. The smell of the room was disgusting since the first second you entered the room. The sewer system i guess it had a problem, the bad smell was coming from the bathroom. The was mold in the bathroom and the smell was unbearable. Other customers complain also in the booking.com reviews.The second major problem was the music till late in the morning. Although the music is not mentioned in the hotel description, they do send you a message after reservation (informing the music from the hotel bar it is playing until 2 a.m - but you cant cancel anyway, the message comes after paying the room). Anyway, the bar it is actually a club, the room was right next to it, the music level maked the night impossible to sleep, and the bass was shaking the windows. The music did not stopped at 2 am, i have recordings to proove this. Third problem was the room cleaning : stains on the walls, stains on the bathtub, yellow stains on the bed sheets, torn bedsheets, stains on the rug. I have also pictures of all of these. The water faucet was also broke, water ran out of all directions. We asked for our room to be changed but the reception said the hotel is fully booked. So we had to check out one night before our vacation become a nightmare.

Lovely big clean room with lots of storage, beds were very comfortable and air-conditioning worked great. Bathroom was a wet room but dried so quickly. We loved being right in the centre of everything. We didn't stay out late, it was noisy but honestly not too bad. Ear plugs were grand and everything was quietening down mainly by 11pm but completely by 2am. I wouldn't let it put you off as location is great! Pool was good and so close to beach shops everything. It's like a resort built around the town. Very nice.

Spacious room with a large shared balcony and beautiful beach view from room. Property in a great location and walking distance to the main area in Koh Tao. Great atmosphere at the pool and towels were provided. Staff were very helpful and storage our luggage.We loved our stay here & would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

Great location

Music is not the worst thing. Its all the noise coming from the street until very late, so get your earplugs ready for the night. You simply cant sleep without them. There is no noise insulation at all. AC was ”working”, but kinda poorly. Also after checking in, some worker who took me to my room was super grumpy and didnt even help me carry luggage stairs up, small thing, but after travelling over 9h would have been nice and already gave the impression that its just another ”bulk accomodation for tourist” and this kind of treatment is what you get.

The staff were brilliant. Very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good (although you had to walk a short distance along the street) except for the warm small bottled water. If you wanted a larger cold one you had to pay.The location is on the beach but as is the noisy lotus bar.

The noise from lotus bar, which you are warned about, is exceptionally noisy and the fixtures and fittings actually shake too! The noise is excessive even with ear plugs.The rooms are very dated and tired and not as clean as they could be.

The facilities are fine and some of the stuff are nice and helpful.If you're looking for very centric place on th walking street of Sairee Beach close to all the bars and parties, this is your place.

But what I didn't like that although it says on the booking page, guest may experience some noise from the lotus bar near by. It doesn't say extremely loud, and the basses will shake the room and drill a hole in your head until 02:00 am. If your looking to go out everyday until 2am at least so it's a great location on the walking street of Sairee Beach. If no so don't.The one receptionist that wasn't very nice said to us they don't refund for young people and asked us to wait untill 13:00 pm so that other receptionist will handle us so we had to wait. The second receptionist that was nice saw how pissed we are after a really bad night and was able to cancel and refund But because we had to wait after 11am they had to charge us for 2 days instead of just 1 day.

Lovely location, watched the sunset from our room which was situated on the beach front.

Dangerous!! Cut my head open on a roof that was over hanging the stairs , staff couldn’t care less. Had a 8000 baht bill and 6 stitches.

while other hotels in the area offers a shuttle service, Lotus does not offer one to the pier. It's in a decent location but there is a lot of noise from the bar on the property until late into the night, so make sure to have some headphones!
