Koh Tao Cabana Hotel

The view from my Bungalow was out of this world, I could see the entire Sairee coastline from my bed!It is located at the notrthern part of themain beach so it is a short 10 minute walk to downtown where everythig happens at night, so no need of taxis :)

the Bungalow shower is open to the outdoors at the top part of the walls so insects might find their way in. not so much of a problem for me, but still i think it was nicer if it was closed.

Gorgeous beachfront hotel at the end of Sairee Beach. Our cabana was lovely! We loved the outdoor patio kitchen and seating area! The beach was gorgeous. The restaurant is excellent. The grilled whole sea bass was the best meal I had in Thailand. Lovely pool. Staff are warm and helpful. Highly recommend!

You will need the mosquito spray they provide.

White sand villa feels like bunker. No light, no seaview & smelly. Ther own restaurant on the beach is well located but terribl food !! (Breakfast& evening) swimmingpool is super old and half broken.

Tooo expensive for what it is.

In "white sand villas" you feel like in a bunker. Its big but there are no real and bigger windows and you dont have a sea view unless u step outside to balkony. Ther own restaurant on the beach is terribl. ( breakfast & dinner) Wooden deck next to pool is super old and dangerous for kids. Needs to be fixed.

The location of the property is perfect. The staff are lovely.

Our room had rats. Multiple. We stayed in a terra patio villa (#41) and it was on the ground floor. A family of rats lived outside the open air bathroom. They would come into the bedroom at night and go through the room, luggage, anywhere. Sleep was impossible without earplugs. The staff were very understanding and moved us eventually to a room on the top floor, and claimed they would fix the room to contain the rats to the bathroom, but honestly, that’s not how rats work. They will find a way. Basically, if you book the terra patio, hope you don’t get a ground floor one.

The best location imo. Can snorkel right off the beach and a 10 minute walk into town. The staff was amazing and the facilities were great. Really nice breakfast as well.

We had a patio villas and it was very nice. The first one we were given by the main road was not great and we asked to see others and finally moved to one on the second floor which are better. The villas themselves are very nice but the public area could do with a little more care

The beach area needs work. The sunbeds are not in great state and the towels are terrible.

This is an exceptional resort for those that know. It offers privacy and luxury in a laid back environment with the attractions of Sairee Beach 5-10 minutes walk away. If you can haul yourself off the sunbeds there is plenty to do, if you can't - just order another cocktail and book a massage!

Absolutely loved our accommodation and the resort. Depending on where your room is, it may be a far walk but if you have no issues with walking, this is a unique setup. Breakfast with a view and the beach so close, we loved every day.

Beautiful property. It felt like we were staying in the jungle. The hotel restaurant offered a very good selection of Thai food, which was delicious.

This resort is a place you wouldn't even need to leave if you are just looking for a place to relax and unwind while enjoying nature and a beautiful view of the a water. My stay at the resort was visually stimulating. The staff were so welcoming, kind and helpful. Some of the friendliest people I've encountered on my holiday. Thank you Koh Tao Cabana and staff for making this a truly amazing experience.

I have not one bad thing to say about this accommodation

The view from the cabin was amazing, the jungle vibe and the private swimming pool, and the shower that was outside under the sky. In addition we liked that the hotel picked us up from the pier for free.

The toilet was outside ( not so comfortable), the breakfast was ok with small menu of choice. In addition the hotel was 10 minutes away from the center but it didn’t bother us.

Our stay at Cabana was great! The hotel is very close to the nightlife at the sairee beach walking through the beach, the staff are extra kind. We enjoyed the yoga class on the beach, the rental bike service, and the ferry booking, check-in, and ride to the

The villa is actually at the woods so the way to it was a bit long and wild-life were along it. One should be aware of it before. There were on/off of the hot water in the shower.

The best stay at this Koh Tao! The staff went above and beyond, and the villa itself had 2 rooms with private beach access and a pool. We loved that it was super convenient getting in and out. Not much walking from the Lobby. I choose this Villa bc we have kids and elderly.The hotel's complimentary taxi service to and from the pier was a huge plus. The room was stocked daily with drinks, snacks, coffee, and more. The best part? The peaceful location at the end of the beach.

About 12 mins walk from local restaurants. Breakfast was an apocalyptic disaster. Overcooked bacon and a flyover squadron.

Staff was super rude, unhelpful and in general unfriendly. Any issues with the room, requests for assistance with cabs/ rentals etc were met with obnoxiously mean receptionist.

Beautiful view and good breakfast

The staff were very rude, poor service. We received angry messages to pay our bill a day before, not at checkout, like we were planning on running away. Hot water did not work well, and when asked for additional towels, the reception started to interrogate us why we needed them instead of just providing one more towel.

It’s in beautiful location, a bit isolated and very calm a dnd quiet.

Climbing up to the treehouse is a bit difficult.
