Amazing view from the room and from the hotel in general. The reception staff was very friendly. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Housekeeping started making a lot of noise, speaking on their phone, on loudspeakers, and chatting outside of the room from 7 a.m. onwards. It was impossible to have a decent sleep because of that. Also, there seems to be a maintenance room next to my room, which meant that housekeeping kept going in and out from that room.

Isolated on the rocks nice private beach

Wow , so many i dod not like,Rooms are OLD and look like hostel buildings, Breakfast is horrible,Staff specifically Rose and another lady are RUDE very bad attitude knows nothing about service. Daniel the manager doesnt care about the place everything is messed ip he justs sits in his room smoking cigarretes while all the reception is dirty and really unpleasent. Wrost place i stayed in thailand for sure.

Our room was generously spacious and comfortable. The view and the grounds are spectacular (for the guests who fear the stairs – the beauty of it all is worth a little effort, I promise). And the snorkeling! I got up close to a green turtle and a blacktip shark on my first swim out, and I'm just a novice. Our kid, snorkeling for the first time, swam with a crowd of rainbow parrotfish.

The vents on the AC were broken and couldn't be adjusted. A previous guest had tried a DIY fix and we did the same.

I liked the view of my room

Some room are so far from the restaurant and there’s no room service for the restaurant menu. Room service has less options Also the cleaning staffs do not change towels and do not clean the rooms properly, they just make the beds and take the bins out that’s all they do!

I enjoyed the location and proximity to the beach. The staff were excellent. Restaurant food and service were great. Room service staff was amazing.

There are a few small things around the property that can use some fixing.

It is on a hillside so there are many steps but that's how you get the great veiws

Hidden away with a small private beach. Pool could do with some TLC. Lots of steps to get down to these and breakfast, which means lots of steps back up...good workout but not for those with health problems. Breakfast was adequate. The free shuttle was good, but could be a little scary at times depending on the driver. Taxis are expensive to get in and out of the area but a deal can be reached if you use the same person.

It’s the views for me. We had the most perfect views of the coast line and that just made our stay so magical. It is a little far from the centre but you just need a bike which you can rent at the hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Shuttle transport to Rze city.

The facility was dirty, the floor in the room, the bathroom and toilet, ale this made out stay unplesant.

the hotel is MUCH OLDER, than it looks on the photos. The villas are smaller inside than they seem, the furniture is older.They email you the portal for online check in gor quick process upon arrival, I went there, entered all info. When we got there - receptionist doesn’t even have any laptop, and I had to fill out papers, and wait for her to check in family with 4 kids first.Breakfasts are a complete DISASTER. Almost no choice of vegs, some thai food options, eggs, rice, the cheapest sausages/ham and cheese that you cannot even pick with fork or tweezers because it melted into a single mash. I do not even understand how one can put only one teabag for the whole pot…The restaurant does not work properly after the breakfast, we spent about an hour at the terrace until some stuff member gave us a menu. No surprise why the restaurant was emptyThe last day was COMPLETELY ruined by the receptionist, who was unattentive. The day before I came to her and explained that we have a boat back home at 16:30 tomorrow, and we would like to have a snorkelling tour from 9 to 15:00, she charged us 1100 thb for 2ppl. The next morning we return our bike to our rentals, check out, and when we arrived to the tour company, it appears the tour that we were sold is different, it comes back at 17:00-17:30, which we obviously cannot go for. And the morning one we wanted already left. So we cannot go for any of them bow, and the tour company cannot return money. So we were left at the pier area with our money wasted for nothing, with no bike, with no room and we had to figure out what to do the rest of the time until our ferry. We called reception, allShe replied was “sorry no possible”.The hotel sends a bulk of emails asking for a feedback, and good reviews. When I emailed my feedback and told the situation happened.

The room was spacious ( albeit a little tired ), the porch with the sea view was nice. The beaches near were quiet. The front desk staff used WhatsApp to communicate and it was brilliant The free shuttle was appreciated

the cleaning was done every day to be fair. The standard quite low. Food and drink at the resort expensive

The shuttle service is excellent. The front desk is very responsive. Nice pool area, with a great view of the water and sunsets. Quiet, secluded area.

We stayed 7 nights. Our room did not have a sprayer by the toilet (standard in Thailand), and flushing paper is not allowed. The pool and bar were not staffed during the day (no towels or help with heavy umbrellas). The room cleaning was usually incomplete, and happened late in the day, even with the “please clean” sign on the door before 9am. Shower was not hot enough. No TV, but evidence of one there previously. It is on a steep hill. The stairs are uneven between the levels. The restaurant is ok for breakfast but the Thai food at dinner is bland and overpriced.

The views are sensational, the nearby beach is great for snorkelling, paddle boarding and watching the sunset. There is a great beach bar/hut too. The pool itself is good and there are plenty of comfy loungers to soak up the sun. Breakfast is okay, nothing special but was fine for 3 days.

The hotel itself no longer looks like the pictures on the website and is in need of renovation. The bedrooms and bathrooms are run down. There was no TV in the room despite the website saying there was. Some of the staff were quite rude as well to us. The nicest man was the guy that drove their shuttle. In the future, if visiting this area, we would select the nearby viewpoint resort which was far superior and had excellent food and is in the same location.

Amazing views You could walk down to the pool and hire snorkels on the beach and swim around with fish and turtles !! Watching the sunset from our room was beautiful Nice, spacious and clean rooms

A mission to get to and from if you don’t have a scooter but you would be silly to not get a scooter on Koh Tao as you wouldn’t be able to explore all the great places No tv ?

I absolutely loved the view from our room, you can watch sunset every single day from your terrace or bed.

There are few things we didn’t like in this resort and I would rather know these things before I booked it. 1. My partner prepared surprise flowers for arrival, as he asked them to do it and also double checked it. When we arrived there were no flowers but instead of it the room was dirty. You could see sand on old furnitures that was falling off the wall so they called cleaners before we unpacked.2. Electricity is going off and on any time so get ready that sometimes you’re not able to charge the phone, use shover or even put the lights on or IC.3. They are showing that room service is from morning 8am to 9pm. Firstly phone is not working.. so you have to walk all the stairs to the reception or restaurant to order. Also we wanted to order breakfast in bed but unfortunately they said NO as they have room service from 12… 4. When you are having breakfast and it’s 10:00 and you’re still sitting and eating, lady will come to you and tell you to go and starts cleaning the plates while you’re still sitting and eating.

I really loved the view from the resort and the pool is so lovely. The staff are also very friendly and the free shuttle is handy.

The room itself is very outdated and we didn’t have a proper clean the whole time we stayed there. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in throughout our entire time in Thailand and it was probably the worst.

overpriced , too many steps , not a 4 star , needed a refurb , no bar or restaurant after 6pm , not within walking distance of a restaurant or bar, facilities not good

The staff were really friendly, breakfast was good, you have an amazing snorkeling area right on your doorstep. It's a bit far from Sairee Beach but you can rent a moped at the hotel for a decent price.

Breakfast could have more of a selection of fruit.
