Amazing location, stunning beach view, lovely staff, really comfy bed, close to great food.

It’s not super clean… ants and some other guests might be found in the room - but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t handleThe furniture and bathroom can use refreshThe managing/owner sisters are sweet in a Thai brut way ;)

Clean well maintained buildings. Not on top of other buildings. Quite part of beach but close enough to utilize the island.

We had a great stay here after we decided to extend our time in Ko Tao. Almost didn’t book because of some of the negative reviews, but had a great stay. Bungalow was clean and comfortable, amazing location on the quiet end of the beach. We didn’t use the Sun loungers or restaurant so cannot comment here.

Great location right on the beach, nice little beach bar close by, room was comfortable.

Amazing location!! Right on Sairee beach but far enough away from the the Main Street for it to be quiet at night. Highly recommend it!!

Loud frog noises

The property is right on Sairee beach, surrounded by nice scenery and restaurants. The motorcycle hire was straightforward and simple as they have bikes on premises. We had a deluxe with sea view. The view of the beach every morning was amazing. The shops and main part of koh tao is just around the corner.

Not much attention to detail in the bungalows. Looks like it was decorated in the 80s and left ever since. Rusty shower heads and rusty fan on top of the bed. It’s a shame because it has so much potential to be better, at little expense. The lady on reception doesn’t speak good English, will try to charge you for using the kayak’s and booking.com commission (as someone in the industry I can see why, they charge hotel very high commission rates). What you pay for here is the location. The bungalow is very sub par, you will get much better for less on AirBNB, with a worse location. I wouldn’t come back to stay at this place (it’s not a resort) but it suited our needs well for our 4 day trip to Koh Tao. I don’t think it’s as bad as some of the other reviews suggest.

The bungalow was exactly as described and the fridge was perfect for cold drinks and aftersun. The curtains were like blackouts which made sleeping easier. The resort was quiet in the evening. Great breakfast every morning on the terrace overlooking the beach. Perfect.

We had a superior room , it looked like a beach hut inside & a short few steps to the beach itself .swimming in the sea was fab . Reception & all staff helpful. It’s at the quiet end of the beach & a small walk to the hustle & bustle

The seals around the windows & doors had gaps so a few mosquitoes got in But We were on an island, it happens

The location of Bow Thing is fantastic, it is at the end of the Sairee Beach and only a short walk into the action. Breakfast was tasty, the service was pretty good. Our room had all the things needed for a comfortable stay.

The beds were very uncomfortable, I could literally feel the springs digging into my body as I slept. They definitely should consider upgrading these. The chair on the patio broke when I sat in it and caused quite a bit of pain as I was not expecting that to happen. For what we paid it wasn't exactly what I expected.

Very poor value for money, and can't understand how it's got good review scores and 3* defies belief!!The whole resort was extremely shabby.Whilst the room was spacious, it was very outdated, basic facilities not maintained, smelly and dirty.The bathroom makes the rest of the room look modern!Very few facilities on the resort, advertised as with a restaurant on site, not true as restaurant belongs to resort next door.The sunbeds on the beach are dreadful, falling apart and covers all torn.All other accommodation nearby is a much higher spec and lower price!!Overall very disappointed, over charged and under provided.

Great stay, friendly staff and a quiet resort with a seemingly older guests staying there (we wanted to avoid the party crowds so this was perfect for us) Owner/Manager lady was very kind and helped us with our stay and travel to ferry etc. This property is located at the far end of the beach and has almost it's own private part of the beach literally about 15-20 metres away from the bungalow (although still maybe a 10min max walk along the beach to the busiest part of the island) We also had use of private sunbeds for hotel guests. If you want some peace and quiet during your stay I would recommend this property!Male, 31, UK.

The Beach front hut was brilliant, right on the beach. The hut was clean and had everything you needed.. The view of the sea from the terrace was magical. Waking up to the sound of the waves. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They also organised our transfer from the port & booked our trip. We would definitely recommend staying here.
