This is a fine place if you’re just passing through. Yes it’s a little dated

There is a desk and good size bed and bathroom. Comfortable bed, good size windows. It was clean. The reception was responsive. Very close to the train / bus station - 9 mins walk, close to the city centre, well lid streets around.

Practically NON existent hotel WiFi - stated that there is WiFi at the hotel but actually is of EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY ! NO SIGNAL, No coverage for Bouygues but the worst is that the WiFi was interrupting every 4-5 mins so not possible to do ANY work requiring Internet.

Location is perfect for whoever is travelling by train, as it is very close to train station . Also close to the seafront with many shops and there are plenty of restaurants within short walking distance. Brasserie we can recommend is Tavern La Place Affligem close by. Staff were all very welcoming and pleasant, which is not the case in the many shops we went in Toulon. The owner of the hotel which we also met, was also very helpful.

DO NOT book this accommodation in summer. The listing says the room has air conditioning but IT HAS NOT. It is just a little fan that does not really blow anything. If you open the little window you die with mosquitoes. The man at the reception justify this saying that the price is low, but that is NO reason to lie about having an air conditioning. Impossible to sleep at night. The man also said that the view is amazing, but that has also nothing to do with the fact that there is NO air conditioning. Very frustrating. You should remove the item that says air conditioning, it is fake.

Very clean room, walking distance to the train station and the old town.

Great location and very welcoming reception. The room was comfortable.

We were accommodated in Hôtel des Allées, which shares staff and reception with Hôtel Jaures, so comments on the quality of room and the noisiness only apply to that one. In general, very friendly breakfast staff and decent breakfast, the room was spacious, and the bathroom looked nice

Wifi didn't work at all, neither in Hôtel des Allées, nor in Hôtel Jaures. The bed was very uncomfortable, forming a "valley" in the middle of the very worn-out mattress (slats were likely broken as well). There were quite a lot of bugs in the room and, disappointingly, even silverfish in the bathroom (it lacked ventilation). Although the room was somewhat tidy, it wasn't very clean and the furniture was quite old. Room was somewhat noisy with open windows due to the street below.

no elevator, rooms are organized per two roome each side of the floor, under common doors (rooms has extra doors), so it's great when you book 2 rooms, you can be close to each other, but the stuff did not put us next to each other :-(
