Loved the location near the Therme Vals. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was simple. Enjoyed my stay.

As a solo traveler who wanted to visit the thermal bath, this place was absolutely fantastic. The small room at House Zervreila is basically connected to Vals Therme. Clean and minimally renovated (I also stayed at the House of Architects before, and it is a delight to stay in the same type of building before the well-known refurbishment). It has a bit of a Wes Anderson old-days vibe. Basic but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were fantastic and kind, and they helped me with logistics prior to the stay. Also, a beautiful breakfast to top it off. All of this at a super affordable price (especially for Swiss standards). I would definitely consider staying here again next time.

We stayed two nights in a room next to the café and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the bed was good, the duvets were heavy and cozy, the shower was good, and there was heated flooring in the bathroom. The women who assisted us were very friendly and kind. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of breads, cheeses, and salamis, and freshly made omelets. We had the special of the day for lunch, and it was delicious home cooking. The location is good, Vals is a small and very pleasant village to walk around and enjoy the countryside. The thermal baths are just across the street from the hotel, which was also nice.

The location was perfect for use of the Thermal Bath. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was very nice, with some great views. The additional things you could buy such as the cheesecake where very tasty.

The room was terrible . We couldn't even use the rest room as it was locked! There was no receptionist to assist with our issues . We had to book a new hotel room at another location

Excellent breakfast with very attentive staff. Our daughter is vegan and the staff answered several questions without any fuss and organized a cappuccino with oat milch. Also me myself I got a "birchermüsli" without nuts. All in all we were really impressed by the service and spontaneous friendliness of the staff. We could also leave our bags in one of the apartments after the official checkot time while we were having a walk in the neighborhood.

no kitchen equipment what so ever, no water, no cups, no plates and no utencils even there is a kitchenette. but the breakfast at the cafe had it all.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Schnider Bed & Breakfast und Café, which was not only misleading but also incredibly frustrating. Based on the descriptions and images provided at the time of booking, I was under the impression that I would be staying in a chalet-style room in a traditional setting. Upon arrival, however, I was told that my room was located in a completely different building—a lower-quality structure that was not the cozy, chalet environment I had been promised.The room was far below expectations, nothing like what was advertised online, and felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested a solution, I was redirected to Hotel Alpina, another property supposedly linked to Schnider. Things only got worse from there.At Hotel Alpina, I was informed that I would need to pay more than the original booking price—an increase from 150 CHF to 170 CHF—despite having made a reservation at the original price. When I reasonably questioned why I was being charged more, the staff's response was shocking. Instead of addressing my concerns, they threatened to call the police on me, which was an utterly unprofessional and intimidating tactic, especially when all I was asking for was clarification about the unexpected price hike.This experience was not just poor customer service—it was downright abusive and completely unacceptable for any establishment claiming to cater to guests. I later discovered that many other reviews have mentioned similar issues, pointing to a pattern of misleading advertising and extremely unprofessional conduct.I would strongly urge anyone considering a stay at Schnider Bed & Breakfast und Café to rethink their decision. The mismanagement, dishonesty, and blatant disregard for customer care are beyond tolerable. I hope that the management will take serious steps to improve their practices, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Everything; my room was in Zerfalia house 4th floor, a modern style (1960’s-70’s???) building and interior design but re-made new so the room was very cool in design with everything one could need.the view was amazing and the room had a balcony where you could enjoy it but also you could hear the water from the Thermal Baths behind the building.The site/building was next to the thermal baths with a beautiful wailkway at the back.Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in this hotel category.

The room.was spacious and comfortable. Very central and with a cafe next door.

This is a great location for those going to Therme. Also the surrounding landscape is beautiful. We appreciated being given discount tickets to Therme. Breakfast did not have a lot of choices, but it was plentiful with good cheese and bread. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a personal request as it was not mentioned in the hotel description from the beginning when I checked, but I strongly wish there had been an electronic kettle and mugs. I brought tea bags, etc., but did not enjoy them because there are few places to shop until late in the vicinity. There was a kitchen stove, so I thought I would boil water then, but there was no kettle or pot to boil water, which was disappointing.

Perfect views of the surrounding mountains, especially in the morning when the sun hit them. It is also very very close to the Vals Thermes and close to the bus stop. The breakfast selection was amazing and the staff were very hospitable.

No washing machine on site to be used.

The breakfast was excellent, more than enough for all of us. the waitress satisfied all our requests with great kindness.The location was wonderful, next to the spa. The room had a balcony with a beautiful view and was clean and warm.

There were only a few options for dinner.

Earnest and well Swiss breakfast plate. This place in the same district to Vals Thermal and also get few discount to entrance fee. Room was very warm and cozy that can take well in the winter.

There is a stove in the small kitchen in front of the entrance. But there was no dishes, hot pot and even hair dryer.

A very easy check-in process and easy to find. We would have appreciated an update of the price as we did not have the breakfast in the café.

Perfect location and generous breakfast in front of the 7132 Hotel and Thermal Baths, with super nice and welcoming staff. Room clean and bright, shower working perfectly.

The bed was a bit soft in the center but nothing terrible.

The breakfast is unforgettable! Very tasty, very generous and very fresh. The stay in the wooden house next to the café is excellent.

I wish there were more houses like the wooden one next to the café, they are very comfortable. In the hotel complex, it was impossible to connect to the WiFi, so I could only plan the routes during the breakfast. Plus, I heard the security alarm in the corridor beeping every ten minutes, which was quite annoying in the night
