Clean, well situated and convenient in the town center. Wish I have more time, a good place to stay and hike around.

Free room upgrade, friendly reception, heated bathroom floor and nice food offering in restaurant and for breakfast. As Vals is a small place, the locals meet in the hotel bar for chats, games and drinks. Lively atmosphere.

TV frequently froze and had color artifacts, probably due to ineffective size of satellite antenna. Hotel is currently being renovated so the view from the room was not great.

Location is 5-stars. Contemporary and clean design. Good food and good staff. Superb service. Good for family and sightseeing.

My favorite place to stay - excellent service, food,a four generation owned hotel, and wonderful piece of architecture.

All the staff members were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is lovely, there is nice variety of the dining options. The main restaurant where breakfast is hosted is a lovely space with a view of the square and and adjacent valley.

Wi-Fi didn’t work well

Wonderful, helpful staff. Vals is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Perfectly located in the town’s main square. The sound of church bells and cow bells is very soothing.

Fantastic hotel with outstanding interior design by Swiss architect Gion Caminada, great service and delicious food in the heart of Vals. Only a short walk to the most beautiful Thermal baths by Peter Zumthor, a river, a gondola to the ski resort and multiple dinning options in the village. 10 out of 10!

Great location, friendly helpful staff, lovely interior fit-out, good food breakfast and dinner.

The only tiny thing was that our room in the annex was ground floor with no view. However the room itself was lovely!

Very welcoming, helpful and friendly staff members - at the reception and the restaurant. The room was simple, but pleasant and full of light. The hotel restaurant is a real gem - we had 2 lunches there. The menu is sufficiently broad and creative.

everything was very nice

The breakfast was very good and also in the bar you can eat well. The room was clean. Most of the materials are natural materials (not all, PCV floor).

I was welcomed in the hotel. But my dog was not. Although the hotel is pet friendly. The lady at the reception was clearly unhappy that I came with my dog. She marked the places where the dog is not allowed. If someone arrives without a pet it is ok. But unfortunately it is not a pet friendly hotel. Which does not happen very often in Switzerland. In fact, the first time it happened to me. We were always welcome.
