- We were lucky to be at the hotel from Saturday to Sunday in July. On the day of our visit there was live music in the outdoor restaurant under a large beautiful tree. A wonderful singer delighted us with her beautiful singing for several hours. Each song was performed with love. There was even dancing. A delicious dinner and wine were very inexpensive. The atmosphere was simply magical. We thought that we would come here just to spend the night, but it turned out that it was a separate adventure within our trip. Unforgettable impressions and feelings. Parking space guaranteed. Thanks to all the staff!
Cons -
- Communication was weird. Some light refreshing of furniture or decor would be nice.
- Too far from the city. My choice at dinner (lamb chops) was not that tasty.
- Breakfast could have been a little richer. There were no eggs.

Everything... the location (remote from anything else), breakfast, the owner's kindness and professionalism.
NA
the location is good if you want to relax, we decided to stay there because it was in the way between setenil de las bodegas and ronda. the road is beautiful. there is a really nice village nearby called Montecorto. the restaurant in the hotel was very good, we had the best meat of the trip. the breaskfast was very good with fresh fruits. the room was good, perfect size and there is a balcony with a lemon tree.
there is nothing to eat during the day, no eggs in the breakfast. they could invest in having some extra activities in the hotel, because there is not so much to do, despite of the swimming pool, which was very cold even in a hot day.
It is situated in a charming location, surrounded by nature and a pleasant atmosphere.
The facilities are quite outdated, and the beds are very uncomfortable. Additionally, there isn't enough furniture for the family to sit together in the family suite. I find it misleading that they use photos of the lobby to represent the room, as this creates a false impression of spaciousness that isn't accurate. Furthermore, the nightly rate for this place does not align with what they offer to guests.
The location was delightful just what we wanted, everything we need was there without need going out on the evening (food, drink), breakfast plentiful. Nice and helpful staff, magnificent views and area. Very peaceful. Not far to travel to see someone wonderful landmarks.
The rural location is beautiful, you’re surrounded by nature only. The rooms are very spacious and reflect the rural location with wooden touches.
The breakfast is basic and could be fresher. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of highly processed food (e.g. jam and meat paste in plastic containers) instead of fresh natural options. The buffet is exactly the same every day so it can get boring. Eggs would be a great addition for example. The property is beautiful, but it lacks some attention and love.
It was out in the country. It was attractive with orange and lemon trees. The breakfast was a good start to the day. The property was surrounded by sheep. Great road biking in the area.
The pool was not open.
Superb
Nature, quiet, nice staff.
Fist of all, we didn’t think it was that far from everything so we were very surprised. The place is really beautiful though. We were the only ones there, with another couple so that made it very weird… and the food was bad. The rooms were very clean and the staff was nice!
This hotel is a true gem in the heart of Andalusia! ? Waking up to the sound of birds singing and the distant bells of grazing sheep is pure magic. Just outside the hotel, you can embark on a beautiful hike through nature, encountering flocks of sheep and goats along the way. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the traditional Andalusian countryside architecture adds to the charm. The rooms are comfortable, and the cozy scent of the wood-burning stove in the reception area makes it feel even more welcoming. The restaurant serves incredibly delicious and authentic food – a true culinary delight! ?? No wonder this place is part of the Michelin Route – it’s absolutely worth a visit and a longer stay.
Very comfortable, helpful staff, lovely open fire, good breakfast.
Location and size of the room
-there were ants in our bathroom-the restaurant menu is not that great- we had expected more from the breakfast, little choice and no fresh fruit
The beautiful settings in an idyllic spot surrounded by green fields, trees, flowers and streams. The kindness of the personnel, the homemade products served at meals, the comfortable beds, log fire, pleasant patios, ample parking area, a wonderful retreat from a busy life
Every thing was good
Fantastic location, quiet, nature
Registered as dogs being welcome, in room and surrounding exterior area this is true which is ideal. Would recommend consideration to accept well behaved dogs also into lounge with chimney area, in dining area understand why this is not acceptable. Note only recommendation.
The breathtaking views, well-maintained hiking trails, and beautiful mountain scenery make this destination unforgettable. Combined with the hotel’s thoughtfully designed property and friendly staff, it’s an experience that will truly leave a lasting impression.
Considering the hotel’s proximity to an active sheep farm, it would be both expected and highly appreciated to see goat cheese and other locally sourced foods featured on the menu for breakfast or dinner.
Stunning and tranquil location, surrounded by scenic hills. Friendly service, delicious dinners, great walks with beautiful views and ever-changing landscapes.
Breakfast was very basic, so a bit more variety and freshly baked goods would be great.
It was a beautiful setting and friendly staff that could speak english. A very nice donkey.
The mattress of The bed is a bit too hard .
Very nice rural hotel. Everything is rustic, the rooms, food but it all works brilliantly. The staff is very friendly and the surroundings was breathtaking. The hotel is excellent for hiking in Grazalema natural park.Would definitely recommend this hotel.
