The Mare de Déu de la Salut de Terrades Sancturary features a chapel, extensive gardens and a traditional Catalan restaurant. It is located in the village of Terrades, a 15-minute drive from Figueres. Each bright room at Santuari de la Mare de Déu de la Salut has views of the chapel or the surrounding hills. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, a TV and a private bathroom. The Santuari’s restaurant offers creative versions of characteristic regional cuisine. Specialties include roast shoulder of lamb, autumn rice with wild mushrooms and chestnuts and homemade desserts. Hostal la Salut de Terrades offers free on-site parking. - The placea and the localitation where perfect. Also, the price of the stay was adequated, because the room was small.
- Beautiful location Unbelievable friendly and attentive staff with big can do attitude Excellent food - 5* restaurant quality Spotlessly clean. Great for hiking. We had trouble with our car and they were fantastically helpful. We stayed an extra night and they cooked for us even though it was a day that the restaurant was closed. Many thanks to Maria and Paul- great Chef and kind owner
Cons -
- The room was small. We had no hot water and the owner made us shower at the spa as it was the day we left. There was no 24h reception and we were not registered.
- Everything was fantastic - nothing to dislike
