- A bit run down and for the cost, I had stayed for similar cost with nicer facilities.
- Breakfast was marginal.
- No A/C it was very hot at night , and only a portable fan was available , no exterior lights very Dark at night, we were told by staff that they were in a hurry since their shift was over and their is no one at night , hat a hard time entering the property had to ask for help before she left for the night. Due access card not program correctly , keys for the room lock very hard to remove from the key door lock assembly.

It was a simple hotel that served my purpose of overnighting to be close to the airport for an early flight.
The warm/hot water never came in for my morning shower.
Right on the Camino, great rooms and good food
Great breakfast. Variety of choices.
Only one person was working the desk and restaurant. Took awhile to check in.
The staff is awesome. The room was comfy and clean. Location is good,
It's quite expensive in comparison with other same category hotels in the Camino.
Beautiful property had lots of fun with other people.
There was so much noise with the geckos above our window, but it all it was great
Nice location next the Camino de santiago trail.
Staff was horrible, treat everyone badly, poor service at bar and restaurant. Was not allowed to use laundry facilities. Room(entire hotel) was extremely hot, no sleep. Both my son and I had dozen bug bites(not sure what kind) horrible experience.
. Do not stay in Amenal if you want a reasonable meal. Amenal hotel is the only place with an evening meal and no pilgrim type option. All expensive. Bedroom had broken tiles and mould on the walls. Not like the photos. The air conditioning wasn't working or not noticeable if it was. Thankful it had a large window we could open albeit the handle felt like it was about to come off. ...we stayed given our timetable but wish we hadn't as wanted a lovely evening after a month walking.
Staff was friendly and the room was very nice. Dinner was available but had solid options you could have before the dinner service. Right on the Camino.
Door lock was a bit quirky - safe and secure but required a little finesse to open.
Location on the Camino was great. Staff was EXCELLENT!
All online maps/location svcs show this property about 1/2 mile from its actual location . The Señora whose house Google Maps show for the hotel said that MANY people have this same issue. Please correct the address!
Clean- nice restaurant- laundry - friendly staff- good food
Maybe need new mattress
Room was basic, clean and comfortable.
The restaurant served us raw pork, pink in the middle and bleeding onto the plate. Only refunded 1 of our 2 meals. Hair in our vegetables. Beware, you could easily become very sick here with the quality of the food. The hotel was extremely overpriced for what was provided. Have stayed at much better places whilst walking the Camino for €50-55. I’d expect slightly more expensive whilst approaching Santiago but for we paid, it just wasn’t worth the price. We wished we had walked a little further or less and stayed in another town/albergue.
Nice clean rooms and very good breakfast.Very good restaurant too (steak was top)
Location for my last night on the Camino was perfect. My room was clean and comfortable with the convenience of an on-site restaurant.
There was nothing not to like about this property, but it was extremely overpriced, likely taking advantage of its location on the Camino. There was also no shampoo provided, which, for the cost of this accommodation would be expected.
Room was excellent. Brilliant to have washing and drying facilities after heavy rain. Restaurant meal was very tasty snd good value. Literally walk past the hotel on the Camino
Weren't able to access buffet breakfast as it wasn't in our room rate. Did get some breakfast options in the bar
Amenal was on the Camino, just steps off it and had food available when we crawled to it exhausted and hungry, huge bonus! Check-in was very simple and there was a bathtub in the room, all good. The surroundings were quiet, so we slept relatively well, and could make a big push next morning for Santiago. Alicia was wonderful and worked ever so hard to keep everyone happy, a lovely lady. The pies were nice!
The hotel is not new and it shows as quite a bit of wear and tear. There's a reception desk but it's not manned. I didn't see any facilities for laundry, so I hand washed a couple of bits and then couldn't find any way to dry them.. The pilllows were very flat, we had to prop them them up with towels. TV small and basic, poor signal (couldn't change the audio language). The hotel is in the middle of nowhere kinda? No shops, no pharmacy etc. At breakfast time we we're keen to get going, no Alicia, another member of staff was making a long process of toasting bread, we waited about ten minutes, no joy and just walked on hoping to get some at the next place. The published price for breakfast was nine euro per person?? Nah. So, very handy for the Camino, there is luggage collection but don't expect luxury.
Get location, superb staff, pleasant restaurant lovely meal. Room was fine.
Not really a complaint but the bathroom could do with a refresh
Good location for our next days walk. Friendly staff.
A little more expensive than expected
