    Pros +

    • The staff were super helpful. The breakfast was amazing, and helped us with gluten free items as well.
    • The moment we left the hotel. The overall experience was disappointing from start to finish.
    • The place is easy to find, close to transportation and a supermarket, not too far from the beach and the staff is very friendly.

    Cons -

    • Not all was working in the spa area. Pool was warm one day and cold the next. Steam room worked one day but not the next.
    • The room was dirty on arrival (hair on the toilet, toilet not flushed, mold, dust). The bathroom had a constant foul smell, several lamps were half broken and not working, one wall light was detached from the wall, and a power socket was broken.Out of three elevators, one was out of service for the entire week — and for several days, two were completely unusable, forcing guests to queue endlessly. The food was bland and poorly prepared (I even got food poisoning), and although we booked half-board, water at dinner wasn’t included (2.50 € for a tiny bottle — only free during breakfast).Nights were no better: loud and explicit sexual and party noises from the neighbouring room between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. Despite reporting it by phone and in writing, management never followed up. No solution, no compensation, no response — absolutely unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. The bed comfort was also remarkable — if you’ve ever dreamed of experiencing the sleeping conditions of a military training camp, this is your chance. Two single beds awkwardly pushed together, as hard as concrete, with pillows that could double as sandbags. Romantic getaway? Only if you’re into synchronized back pain.Avoid if you value your sleep, your stomach, or your sanity.
    • Poor soundproofing in the rooms. Some guests were a little noisy ? and this created discomfort for me.

Nice sea view from the upper floors.Nice pool aera with nice staff.Very accessible.

Room was noisy with walls thin, we could hear our neighboors and the slamming doors / party people putting loud music. It's a shame that there was no coffee machine in the room. Would have also made our stay more pleasant so we could chill with coffee on our balcony.

It was a great short stay.Friendly staff, very good breakfast and dinner.

Nice breakfast, alot of supermarket around and a bus stop nearby

No isolation There's a 10 min walk to the beach and Breakfast start at 8 so if you need to leave early no breakfast

The staff is super nice and friendly. The breakfast and dinner service is great, diverse and food is delicious.

Because the building is in the “party zone” some guests are usually drunk and very loud late at night. This can disturb your sleep. You hear noises from other rooms.

There were some flaws but overall it is a good hotel and our stay was pleasant. You pay fair price for what you get. Beautiful comfortable lounge with elegant design; small but cosy spa.

    Please fix the second elevator.

Staff friendly. Room lovely and pool area good.

Too far up a steep hill.

I would not stay here again

I had ants in my room. I got stuck in my bathroom even if the door was unlocked.

    6ThaisPosted on: 10-26-2024

The bed was nice, reasonable breakfast, good location.

There was a lot of ant in the room and in the corridor, I got bit during the night, the staff didn't know much about their own spa facilities, one part of jacuzzi/pool wasn't working, the information of the hours facilities wasn't updated in the room, leading us to a wrong attempt of the using the spa, it says 22pm but finishes at 20pm.

    Good

Thin walls without any sound isolation, couldn’t sleep at night due to noise from other rooms

It was really clean. Really close to a beach. The lady in the front desk was super nice as well as the lady that worked in the bar.

The fridge didn’t have a lot of power, it was good for waters but not cold enough for food. The walls were extremely thin and you can hear everything and during the night, even with the curtains closed there was still a lot of light coming in the room. It says it’s adults only but during our stay there was a group of Germans (late teens, early twenties) that were screaming in the pool and splashing everyone with water. The breakfast buffet had no labels so you don’t really know what you are eating and the staff even tho we spoke English, continued to speak in Spanish.

It is well presented on arrival

It is dated and a lot of the fixtures, particularly in the rooms are in need of modernisation. I’m not sure who rates the hotels, but this hotel, in my opinion, is only 3*.

What stood out most on this trip was the wonderful staff. They honestly couldn't do enough for us. We had been trying to learn a little Spanish ready for our trip, but they spoke English perfectly, were friendly, helpful and made our trip. The hotel was in a perfect location, not right on the front but located close to restaurants, grocery stores and close to the beach. I would definitely receommend this hotel and expect to book here again. Thank you to the gentleman on reception who had also lived and worked in London and the lovely lady who seemed to work the bar, snack bar and restaurant. You two were absolutely outstanding. Thank you.

Food in the restaurant was ok. Not outstanding but the buffet equipment was insufficient to keep the food warm. This wasn't the staff's fault. They can only work with what they are given to use. Even though the food wasn't hot, the staff were wonderful and made up for any little problem.

The staff were all lovely and helpful, breakfast was good, all fresh food and lots to choose from. The spa is wonderful and very reasonable for the 2 hours for the price. Having a fridge in the room was a bonus.

The only thing I would suggest is getting net curtains on the windows as we were overlooked by an apartment block and had to keep the curtains closed when in the room. Could have done with a kettle on there room too.

I liked the proximity of bus stations, staff was very helpful and nice. Did not try the spa

The walls were paper thin, we could hear clearly every word from rooms above, below, left and right of our room. It says adults only, but kids over 18 still come to party so they make a lot of noise after coming back to the room in wee hours. This was a big issue for me as a light sleeper, and was sleep deprived for the most of my vacay. I guess this is a matter of luck who your neighbors are. Breakfast was also pretty bad, the only good thing was the omelette station (very tasty). Boyfriend was eating only pastries for seven days, cause all else was pretty tasteless.

    7AnastasiaPosted on: 9-13-2024

The rooms are very spacious and very clean. There's daily cleaning between 10am and 1pm. The staff is very nice and always helpful. The buffet breakfast had a nice range to choose from, with hot and cold food. The dinner buffet was good, varied every night. The hotel is located 5 mins walk up hill from the beach (Playa de S'Arenal) We did not use the spa facilities or the pool but it looked pretty decent.

The soundproofing is quite poor, you can hear people in the hallway + in the rooms next door (our neighbours kept speaking very loudly late at night, I had to ask the reception to get involved). The aircon is not super strong, it is a HVAC system built into the rooms with the vent being in between the bedroom and room entrance/bathroom. We did not feel much difference between the outside / inside when the aircon was on the coldest and highest fan setting. It was a nice temperature overall once you acclimate to it.The TV in the room is a bit dated and I needed to reset it to have access to the local channels. Smart TVs in all the rooms would be appreciated. The bed were quite firm, a range of pillows would've been nice (only had soft microfibre ones). Some renovation/upgrading work is definitely needed to improve these issues for a 4* hotel. When we arrived on our first night, there was an overbooking issue and we were given the choice between the room we booked for our full stay, or if we accepted to stay in a different room for one night and the rest of the stay in the room booked. Compensation was dinner included for our stay (we only had booked breakfast) and spa access. Not a big issue for us as we didn't mind too much but maybe a lack of organisation between booking systems. The 'emergency' room we were given for the first night was on the top floor (13th) and had a sea view, right behind the hotel sign. It was smaller than the normal rooms and did not have a fridge, but there was still a good aircon unit and a smart tv. We even had access to the roof terrace which was beautiful at sunset time. The only downside the 'emergency' room was that it's located right next to the lift / elevator room which makes some clicking and mechanical noise every time the lifts are in use. At night it wasn't such a big problem as there was less traffic, but can be disturbing for light sleepers.

    Friendly staff

Doesn’t give 4 star hotel vibes , pillows not comfortable, mini fridge empty No water for half a day TV switched on and off by itself Room not clean everyday

    Close to the beach.

Uncomfortable beds. Noise from the traffic and from other guests. No parking.
