Great location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff

Comfortable, spotless, spacious. Everything we needed. Excellent staff. Oh and the BEST carrot cake I have ever tasted!

We had a lovely stay at Paternoster Lodge! The staff were friendly and very accommodating, I would like to mention that Donna was an absolute star and assisted us with a few extra details which we really appreciated. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone wanting a break away and true relaxation.

Breakfast was not included, but the one I then went for with friends, was something out of this world.

Leaving, after only 2 nights. Next time I shall stay a little longer.

The location was great and it's nice that there are restaurants in walking distance.

I feel that it is a little bit overpriced compared to similar accommodation, especially regarding our visit, which were out of season.

We did not have breakfast, so unable to comment. The room was spacious and comfortable, although we had requested a sea view which we did not get. The bed was very comfortable and the location really good - not a long walk to the beach. Lovely view from the dining area.

There were no toiletries in the one room and we had to ask for these. The staff responded after a while. The smaller room had a balcony, but no furniture was set out. Everything was on the ground (umbrellas, etc) and did not look welcoming. This was also a shared balcony, with an interleading room, which we were not aware of when booking. As a result, it was not used, even to dry some fishing clothes.

Fabulous location. Room was spacious and well appointed. Restaurant had a range of food options however wine by the glass choice was a little limited. Not a huge problem!

Lovely view, clean, spacy room. Lovely, pretty girl who recieved us for check in.

The rooms were clean and the hotel is walking distance to the beach.

Reception closed within 30 minutes of check in (at 3pm). We had no means of contacting staff. There was no soap/shampoo in the room. There was supposed to be wifi, but we had no passwords. Not even a bottle of water to be found anywhere.Pool was full of sand and no pool towels. Hotel restaurant was closed.It can be windy in these parts and as the door didn’t close firmly it rattled constantly in the wind, so made a lot of noise. Even without that, the rooms were right along the street, so every car that passed seemed to pass through our rooms.Overpriced, would not stay again.

The location is very nice and there is a view of the sea. I am glad we stayed a Sunday night as the room was very close to the restaurant but the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings so it was quiet.

The towels need to be changed, they are very thin and hard and its time for a change. The breakfast set up could have been explained better. A menu was given with prices on which made me think that breakfast wasnt included but it was.

We enjoyed our stay at Paternoster Lodge. Location is good and the rooms are very spacious.

Love Love Love! Will def be back. Besides the amazing view this places assets are their staff. Exceptional service and the best of them all was Donna! She goes above and beyond give this lady a raise!! Thank you so much for the amazing Christmas lunch and breakfasts. I have no complaints.

Small suggestion is a little maintenance such as a the broken shelf in the shower. But nothing major.

Breakfast is something to work on. The poached eggs were over done and the scrambled eggs still raw. We went out for breakfast the next two days.

The waitress at breakfast was not very friendly and also slow. The rest I did not have issues with. We did have to request the rooms to be cleaned before anyone showed up. We were in the family room which meant we were 4 people however only one glass was provided. We had to constantly ask for another glass or two. My brother had to ask around for someone to please clean the outside area as bottles and glasses were standing around and no one was cleaning up. They just walked past it.

The room was clean and spacious. It was quiet and restful. Nice breakfast and the tea and cofee in the room was toped up every day. A beautiful view!

It would have been nice if the restaurant and reception closing times were available in the room.
