Beautiful views, central location. Host Ryan was lovely, very helpful. Pool has a stunning backdrop as well.

Friendly, helpful host. Spacious rooms with beautiful view of mountains.

Kitchen not well-stocked with necessities. Bathrooms quite small.

The location fills one with awe and a deep sense of tranquility and serenity. One can drive to several beautiful sites from the River Crossing. The host Ryan is very helpful and responsive. Ryan is exceptional and responded positively to all our requests.

The exterior of the lodges were recently painted and the grounds are well maintained. However the interior is in need of urgent maintenance and make-over. We were pleased to learn about plans to repaint the inside of the cottages soon.

The owner couldn't do enough for us. The position is fantastic with lovely views of the mountains and a good swimming pool. The decor in the room is good.

The interior of the rooms are a little tired and could do with a coat of paint.

Obviously the place is fantastic, location is perfect. Views are amazing. And the host Ryan, is out of this world? thanks for being the chery on top of the perfect getaway. I assumed it was his place the way he dealt with the guests on our break. Going out of his way to make us all super happy even going as far to getting people's braais going on late arrival!Legendary ?

We should have definitely stayed an extra night or two?

The view and location is exceptional.It was clean and had everything we needed.

No shelter over braai and the Drakensberg has rain or drizzle often. Please look into covering the patio area.

The views were stunning. The place was clean & neat. Being pet friendly was a bonus. The host was very kind & accommodating. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will be back soon. Thank you so much Ryan, God bless!!!

The entertainment area was a huge bonus because of the bad weather. We were able to have a braai and enjoy ourselves. Even though we were a large group, we still had privacy because of how the villas are built. The rooms are very spacious.

Unfortunately because of the rain, the last stretch leading to the accommodation was muddy and it was not an easy drive.

I did not stay there. What you see on photos and what you find at the property are two different things.Found other accommodation after I saw the property and I canceled the rest of the stay.

Location always brilliant. Host was a blast. Enjoyed all the calmness of the area as well as the people who looked after us. Will definitely be back next year and enjoyed the personal attention to detail. Great shoutout to Ryan. You are the MAN!

Very nice accommodation. Looked newly build and verry well equipped. Beautiful location.Owner very friendly and helpful. Went out of his way to ensure that we could watch the Springbok vs France quarter final.

The only suggestion I have is that they upgrade their DSTV

The best location to see the range of mountains especially since it snowed. Very close to all other hotels, restaurants and activities. Very helpful and friendly staff. Accomodation is comfortable.

Bathroom shower needs attention. Black Slate doesn't show mould so needs to be updated. Hot water tap faulty and holes in shower floor.
