Hotel Gaudi

The breakfast was outstanding! It included meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, fruit, yoghurt, and much more. The location was near the Christmas market and many tourist destinations. The room and bathroom were spacious.

Hotel Gaudi is a good price for value. It’s a classic, a little outdated but it’s clean and comfortable. The location is great and the prices are also very fair !

All was good. We go there often and it’s always great.

Location was good as we could walk around the main town area and a parking building was just beside to park our car. Check in staff was helpful, specially when we needed a change of room.

Had to change room as the given room had 3 single beds (we booked for queen bed) and bathroom had a bad smell. Breakfast was just okay as there was no real service given, one attendant was there to remove the plates in a hurry as if wanted us to go away. Coffee not so good. If room windows open for fresh air , hear all the noise from the road.

Older hotel in city center, it is well maintained with friendly staff and attractive furnishings. No hot water kettle or coffee- tea setup in rooms, central HVAC with limited controls.

No big negatives.

Nice place, closer to the Gaudi museum and a lot of shopping stores. It was clean and tidy

It was really hot when we visit. However, the hotel refuse to start the air conditioning. We have to open the windows and it was noisy and hot

I liked everything, especially the check-in process (I got my room 2 hours before). The staff were amazing, and English speakers.

The location is perfect. The room was clean and nice too. About the noise few mentioned, yes it's true, but the building is old enough to expect such thing. Also for who expects over-generocity and broad smiles without reason, this place gives you exactly what you deserve so be aware. Good bed, good shower, nice view, a perfect old-fashioned hotel.

The facility of the room was one of the poorest among the hotels I stayed in the past. There was only one mains power socket near the bed and was half broken, so we found difficult to charge our mobiles. It was quite a surprise that no mains around the desk at all (I should never stay here for a business). The fridge was locked and likely broken too. No plug for bathtub. TV remote controller was a small, limited function one so I could not change the audio to English. Well, maybe I should forget about English during a holiday trip (haha).

Shower over bath: I always prefer a cubicle.WiFi worked in the lobby but not the room. Gave up trying to connect and ended up using phone data allowance.

Very little soundproofing. Someone showering from the room above sounded like there was a leak straight into my room. The snoring guests from the adjacent room were hard to ignore

The room

The Internet connection was very bad, it would keep being disconnected. This lasted all week. The water would go hot and cold in the shower. The coffee machine in the lobby was broken, I reported it, but it was not fixed during the week we were there. We did breakfast the 1st day, the hot food was cold. We have stayed here before, and all was good, but this time we were not happy with our stay.

Clean. Pleasant staff

Not at all historic. Aside from the 8th floor view could have been in a holiday inn.
