Hotel 1948 Manresa

Very nice clean hotel next to the train station.Very accommodating on requests and communicating before the trip.Did have a free small breakfast.

This hotel does not have a 24/7 staffing at the desk, you would need to call if outside hours.

The staff is very supportive.

The bed was uncomfortable, and on the day we arrived there were renovation works all afternoon that disturbed our rest.

The toilet seat was visibly dirty towards the rear. I had to wipe it using the antibacterial wipes I take with me on my trips.

Room was really clean when we arrived and cleaner was very thorough

It came as a shock to be told the night befor that reception would be closed on the day of our arrival. I was given a website to use for check-in but that site did not work. Fortunately, after some attempts I was able to speak to someone on the phone to pay the tourist tax and to get an access code number. This worked and I was subsequently ablt to work out how to access the garage to stable my car for the nights. Apart from a member of staff who put in a brief appearance in the evening to clear dishes fmor the cafe, we did not see a single person (apart from a couple of other guests) throughout our stay. There was a minimal breakfast - and we left.Not one to repeat.

Everything was great and perfect!!! The bed & pillows were extraordinary good! You get all you need, shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb! The staff was very friendly and helpful! We would definitely choose it again!

Every day there was water, cake and coffee available in the room. It was clean.

The walls were very thin and you could hear people in the hallways.

Nothing at all, the worst place I have ever been, not even close to 3 stars, it is a shame and a robbery

They were not at the reception, they did not pick up the phone, and 1 hour of waiting down the rain they responded at the ‘hotel’ door. And booking rate of 9 plus?? What are you doing??

The lady at concierge was super helpful and nice!

The hotel has very comfortable location in the center of the city. The staff are friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. I will stay in this place in the future.

Did not take breakfast but kitchen facilities were available for guests to use including microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso style coffee maker.The hotel was not quite in the heart of the town but Manresa is very walkable and we enjoyed the 15min walk to the main square.The staff were really helpful both before I arrived and once I was there.

Clean, spacious and warm room and bathroom. Very helpful welcome from the kind reception staff with excellent English. Stored my bike in the garage. Hot water, microwave and coffee machine available in a shared area.

No breakfast available - cakes in the room instead.

Good AC that you could control with your room’s thermostat. Comfortable room and very nice staff.

I had a room at the street level and unfortunately it was a little bit noisy during the night, but the rest was OK.

So many things! My bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was very powerful (great as it reached 30 Celsius) and the shower was hot. Effective sound proofing meant that I slept well. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful - really nice people. There were also lots of thoughtful touches. For example, complimentary water in the fridge, some cakes to eat and a small room where you could make yourself a free coffee at any time. Also, a little 'balcony area' where you could sit in the evening and relax, The hotel is just two minutes walk from the local FGC railway station and about 5 minutes from numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. This is a very small hotel but a great place to stay.
