Sierra Motel and Apartments

Nice clean and large rooms with washer and dryer.

I appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and provided milk for with coffee. Room was simple but clean and what we needed.

The location is in a rural area which worked for us as it was a quick overnight. However, it was a bit hard to locate in the dark as the sign is not illuminated.

Overall an excellent stay. Nicely set up. Very clean and tidy. Comfy and cosy beds.

Only thing was... hot water flow was inconsistent but we managed.

Newly renovated. Everything was new. Large rooms. Easy access. Fully equipped kitchen with utensils.

Check in only 8 to 8. But no issues we could still arrive late.

We stayed in the premium Apt room. It w as nicely updated/new appearing (or just new/nice) The room was large & modern with kitchenette that had an oven, cooktop, washer/dryer and anything else you could need. Very clean and well maintained. Bed comfy, shower strong and hot, nice larger sized apt fridge (not a mini but not full size like home fridge). Walking distance to Omarama hot tubs. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent place to stay.

Parking is limited - could be a problem if hotel full.

Renovated, modern and spacious room. Impressed by how clean everything was! Very convenient to have a washing machine in the room as well. Parking was right outside the room. Bathroom also had heating. Great amenities and new appliances. Staff were very friendly. Check in/out was seamless. Walkable distance to the Hot Tub Omarama and a few restaurants in the area. A very comfortable stay for a quick stop over.

The host was so considerate and accommodating with the late check out as we were to cover our trek and return late. Washer and drier were bonus, I like the smart kitchen and bathroom.

friendly owner Good location Very warm room There were stovetop, oven and microwave:)

Nice welcome on arrival.Comfortable room and bed

Clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for the night. Staff were friendly.

The room is spacious and modern, featuring amenities such as a washing machine/dryer, which represents a significant advantage. While the price point is higher than a typical motel, the comprehensive facilities justify the cost. Communication was excellent, and late check-in was easily facilitated.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had what was needed for a simple pasta meal for our family of 4. This is a basic motel: it isn't a place to hang out in, but works well for somewhere to stay while seeing sights in the area.

We had room #2 - next to the laundry room, so we could hear the washing/drying machines. Otherwise it was quiet and a pleasant place to stay.

A clean motel, very conveniently located close to the Wrinkly Ram cafe, and opposite the Omarama hot tubs.

Good location, Clean room and facilities.

Low hot water pressure.

Check in, check out very easy. All ready and clean.Omarama Lodge Vineyard, Restaurant & Bar recommended to eat.

Nice tidy little place Very clean and friendly guy in reception made us feel welcome

Nothing not to like

When booking I thought it seemed overpriced but the quality and fitout was exceptional inside the unit, probably the best we had in 35nights

Grumpy, almost rude interaction with reception, possibly just having a bad or busy day

Tidy, clean, central for what we needed.

Bed was super comfy, they give you a bottle of real milk for your hot drinks, room was warm, comfy. Pleased to have found electric blanket on the bed in the middle of the night because I woke up freezing and couldn't find a spare blanket.

Probably a bit overpriced for what you got, unfortunately I got the disabled room, with lower benches etc, would not normally bother me, but I've got a pinched nerve in my back so it really hurt to bend down so far, but that's just unfortunate timing really.
