Good sized room, comfortable bed, good breakfast buffet, helpful staff.

The Park Hotel San Michele is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the historic centre of Martina Franca, making it a perfect base for exploring the town. We booked a superior room which was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and swimming pool.Breakfast was good, with attentive waiter service, though not quite exceptional. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The swimming pool was a real highlight — a delightful place to relax after a day of sightseeing.Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a charming setting.

A couple of minor drawbacks were the size of the shower and the general impression that the hotel could benefit from a little updating. Nothing very worrisome.

It was a great location, close to the old town. Loved the size of our room and having a pool to come back to each day after sight seeing was a blessing. Good breakfast on the beautiful verandah and the staff were very very obliging. The hotel also had a lovely dinner each night.

We felt that there should have been perhaps a kettle to make tea or.coffee in our room, as after breakfast there was no where to have a drink until dinner. There was no safe in our room, which is unusualThe property grounds could perhaps be a little better maintained.The address which is listed took us to the back gate, and after several trips around the block, we finally saw the illuminated sign, perhaps a proper sign on the back gate wall next to the drive way would eliminate looking for the entrance.

Rooms are fairly small, bathroom will not be comfortable if your size is XXL. A bit slow service and rooms were not ready at 3pm.

Very clean & comfortable /good breakfast within easy walking distance of the centro storico, and with free parking, a great base for exploring other towns such as Alberobello & Matera by car as we did.

All the staff were very helpful. Lunch and breakfast were good. The room was adequate, but the disappointment was that there was no light near the head of the bed. Therefore, it was impossible to read in bed...

The room is a bit poorly arranged. A kettle for a camomille tea or instant coffee is something common everywhere nowadays.

Grand old hotel. Heating system did not work and staff was not concerned that it was cold. All they offered was an additional blanket. Room is tired. Restaurant food was one of the poorer meals we have had in Italy,

The bedrooms and bathrooms in the hotel need some serious refurbishment and redesigning Showers were tiny.. we are small people and even we struggled to use them . There is a wooden shelf running behind the bed as a headboard and it is dangerous . My husband banged his head turning over in bed .Also when checking in you need to ask if there are any functions planned for during your stay and if so insist on a room as far away from the function as possible . We were in room 19 on 1st floor right above the function suite and had to endure very very loud club type music plus a blaring dj until 2am . The night manager was very understanding but other than offering to move us ( at 1am ! ) he could do nothing . The hotel is very large and there was no need to put us in that room . It is a total failure of management and planning. Yes the reception staff were lovely the next morning and we did get a discount on our stay but we would much rather it hadn’t happened in the first place . Moreover despite being told how upset we were the hotel manager who was in the hotel before we checked out did not take the time to meet with us personally despite us requesting this

Our shower water was always luke warm never hot, every evening and every morning which was disappointing

Lovely oldy world hotel, beautiful gardens, and lovely views from the top two floors we had a classic double on the 4th floor 403 huge balcony. Location is good only 6 or so mins from old town, plenty of restaurants in the area but most are located in side streets so take a bit of searching out. Would we use this hotel again, yes. But there are a few negatives.

The food was of a poor quality, breakfast was same every dayWe had one dinner in the evening and it was poor, would not use it again. Also there is no bar, whichIs unusual in a hotel of this size, but there's a lovely little local bar at the back by the large car park

Location is great. Lovely deep pool. Such a beautiful town.

The showers are tiny! I could barely fit in the shower and my partner couldn't fit in the shower at all. Couldn't even get through the doors which was very distressing for them.

The breakfast was really good, the swimming pool area was clean and attractive, Personal was helpful and kind, room was clean.

The hotel was excellent. The staff brilliant. We were there as a group. My daughter was getting married in Italy and the staff so helpful.
