Apulia Victor Country Hotel

Absolutely beautiful property with very helpful staff! The full buffet breakfast offered was great. Rooms were nice and clean.

Not a single thing was good, from the facilities to the staff to the food, I'm very unsatisfied and disappointed.

I want to make a complaint and as for a full refund of the booking I made. We booked this hotel and the details of the room including the pictures displayed in the app were different from the ones we found the room. Upon arrival at night the room was very cold, apart from that the room had a smell of a dead animal most likely coming from the ventilation system because that's where it was more noticeable so the whole room smell like dead animal which is unhealthy to be exposed. Entering the bathroom, the sink was detached and full of mold around it. The shower had no curtain and the bathtub was leaking which ended up having the whole floor flooded after showering which again represents a danger for us, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. We had a horrible night and we arrived exhausted from traveling, we couldn't sleep the entire night and on top of that at 6 am we had a dog (from the room next to us) barking nonstop. During the day we're very tired, it felt like a punishment having to sleep there and until now I'm still feeling the odor of the dead animal we inhaled and is making me feel sick. I would like a compensation from this terrible experience and putting our mental and physical health and well-being at risk. It is unacceptable the hotel still runs in this conditions, this should be fixed and compensated. I'm happy to provide all the proof of the room conditions and the difference from the pictures displayed in the app. Thank you for your support.

In the middle of tranquil nature. Excellent breakfast, including burrata cheese.

The pool area is nice and give you relaxation after a hot day. Great exceptional breakfast very surprising for Italy Beautiful nature around the place. Small improvements will make it exelant.

The room was probably in a building that was a nursing home, the facilities were not comfortable and really old. No toilet seat. Was very high, for disabled probably. ?

Rural location not far from Alberobello.

The room was humid and dark as the bathroom.

The bed was uncomfortable because the double was just two single beds put together and rolled on a wheel, what moved, as you moved in the bed The internet was not working in the room only at the reception

Good and quiet location yet only 10 minutes from Alberobello. Lovely surroundings and great pool. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the selection was good.

We found the beds very hard, a mattress topper would be a good idea. The eggs and bacon were cold as put out early without anything to keep them warm.

I personally love historic buildings, and the main hotel was housed in a stunning 1886 stone structure of an old farm with a 24-hour reception and incredibly friendly staff. The breakfast was great, with eggs—a rare treat in Italy! The location is ideal if you have a car, as it’s situated on a peaceful farm, away from the hustle and bustle of Alberobello, offering a tranquil escape.

The rooms are located in a newer building that reminded me of North American motels. Unfortunately, they need to improve the rooms, especially the bathrooms. After taking a bath, the bathroom flooded, and the toilet brush was disgustingly dirty. The decor was quite mediocre and didn’t match the charm of the main historic stone building at all. While the bed sheet was clean, the bedspread was stained, and the room had mosquitoes, which made our stay less comfortable.

We loved the property although our GPS had a difficult time finding it. It consists of multiple old stone farm buildings converted into lovely rooms overlooking vast fields. The main building houses reception area, multiple lush sofas and dining areas. Dinner was served outside on a long second story balcony and their huge buffet breakfast was offered inside as well ad the balcony. Their meals are fabulous.

We required WiFi for a few hours daily and were unable to have it even by changing rooms or by going into the primary building.

Close enough to town (if you have a car) but also far enough out to enjoy the countryside.

It’s a bit frayed on the edges. Pool could remain open beyond 6:30 — the loveliest time of day, when the sun isn’t so strong. Better signage.

Peaceful and well located for our needs. You need a car to get around for sure. A few minutes to the famous Trulli village.

Beautiful country side hotel close to Alberobello, the room was nice and clean, breakfast was really good (they even arranged us vegan products when asked when we were checking in), staff was helpful, we got good tips about where to park in the city. Pool was also a nice plus.

After they get the restaurant up and running again everything will be perfect but we were aware of this upon arrival and had dinner in the city instead.

The pool is amazing, as well as the surroundings. Good spot to see the dawn. Rooms are spacious and clean.It is only 10 mins by car from Alberobello.

Lack of staff was evident, I would recommend the owners to have more employees.However, the woman at the reception helped us for all the services that were missing staff (dinner, bar service…) and supplied with everything that we requested, preparing for us a dinner and an aperitivo. She was great and really helpful.

the location is amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable. the pool zone is very nice and there is all you may need there. at the end the breakfast is rich and good! highly suggested

We had a lovey 1-nite stay at the Victor Country Hotel. It was easy to find and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beautiful buildings and relaxing grounds are amazing with a rich history. We enjoyed the pool, reading under the pergola and a yummy breakfast. It was a quick drive to visit and tour Alberobello. I wish we could have stayed longer but we only had 1-nite to spare in our Puglia road trip.

During a very hot day and nite, the air conditioner did not fully cool the room which we understood was due to limited electricity issues in the area.

All of the hotel staff, especially the young receptionist, were extremely friendly and always eager to help. They created a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere throughout my stay. Many thanks!

Country life

Great experience! The hotel is beautiful and close to the trully area. Breakfast buffet was very good! We would like to come back soon!
