Charming Trulli

The trullo we were staying in was nice, however not as nice as some of the other Trullis we have seen! The back (garden, it courtyard) was not nice at all had a boarded up window and need some major repairs! As for the cleanest, I found quite a few hair

Quite a few black hairs in the main bedroom! There was also a smell that came really can¿t explain! The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable! I wouldn¿t stay in that particular one again!

It was warm, well heated. Outside was probably 8C or less. Part of the main bedroom floor was heated. There’s was a 2nd heated bathroom (with skylight) with a tall shower. The shower in the main bathroom is a bit low. Plenty of towels. I kept all the doors closed of the heated rooms to keep the place warm. The place was just far away from a main street to be quiet in the morning. The Trulli I stayed in was 5 mins walk or less from bars & restaurants. Unfortunately I didn’t get to eat at La Cantina. The menu looked great. Book ahead if you can. The host was super nice & came in my car to show me the place & find free parking near the Trulli. It was a nice experience overall.

I stayed in a Trulli called Basilico. I am not sure if it’s exactly the same as I saw in ‘Charming Trulli’ in Booking dot com. It seems as though Charming Trulli is actually a reception (name) that looks after maybe 22 Trulli houses. I don’t quite remember if I got exactly the same place I booked. But all good. I still had a nice place & I was very happy with it. The reception communicated well in the Booking dot com message platform. They don’t have WhatsApp but a land-line. Don’t be dismayed if they don’t answer the phone after you book. The host is just busy checking guests in. You’ll get through to reception eventually on the phone. As mentioned, Reception will reply in messages.

It was a pleasure staying in this cozy trulli. Definitely an amazing experience starting from the kindness of the staff and ending with the details and location of the trulli. We had an unforgettable stay and couldn't choose better for our special night!

Just the Trulli

Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t very memorable. We were refused an early check-in request by just one hour, even though we were traveling with a child. The staff mentioned that cleaning was still in progress.Later, when we checked in, there were no welcome amenities in the Trulli — not even basic items like water bottles or snacks. This was our fourth stay in the Puglia region, and it was the first place where we didn’t receive a warm welcome.The Trulli was slightly overpriced compared to the facilities offered. Overall, it was an average stay.

Unique property, great location in the middle of everything.

Busy street with ALOT of tourists. Door opens directly on the street (with no sidewalk, yard, etc.

Low ceilings. Church bells every 15 min throughout the night. Parking a bit of a walk.

The welcome was quite impersonal and not much advice on good things to see/eat

It was a charming place with characteristic features. The location was good and very central, however a bit of a longer walk to access from the car with all the luggage.

If there is anything I could suggest to improve it would be a little more privacy for the 2 separate bedroom areas and also a better parking situation, particularly if people have lots of luggage.

Amazing accommodation – I was very pleasantly surprised by how cleverly the heating was set up, making the place warm and cozy at all times. The location is excellent – close to everything important, yet peaceful. I felt very comfortable during my stay and would definitely love to come back.

Trulli is located on a hill behind the church, not exactly in the town center. If you are looking for truly romantic accommodation, I would choose elsewhere. The apartment was very clean and practically furnished.

The main bedroom was comfortable, but there were two tiny almost-rooms suitable for children. Adults can sleep there, but there is not enough space or privacy. The mattresses were too soft for us, and the pillows were uncomfortable. For one night, it met our expectations, but we wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.

For sure best place in Alberobello to experience the Trulli.The building had floor heating that in February made our stay suuuper nice. Great location. Entrance to the roofs from which you could see other trulli and see the round stone roofs from up close. The house is very comfortable and spacious. Perfect for our 4.

Has a very good staff and a great location. It was a very good experience to sleep in a trulli house.

There was water in many places on the floor. And the bed made a very bad noise when you moved in bed.

I had a very nice experience staying in this Trullo! The place was tidy and super clean, and it was great to sleep in such a unique setting. The bathroom is newly renovated and spotless. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The host was very helpful and even assisted me in arranging transportation to Matera. The place also has a fridge, with some instant coffee and tea available, which was a nice touch. It would be great if they could provide some bottled water in the future, but overall, it was a very good experience. Highly recommended!
