Grand Hotel Biffy

Nice place, good breakfast, pleasant staff

Beautiful and modern upscale facility. Wonderful breakfast with attentive staff. Everything is first rate. Associated restaurant is excellent .

Hotel Biffy is a venue facility and parties at the lovely pool can get a bit noisy.

A very convenient location as well as a great price for that evening

The location was a bit noisy as they had a very large party with DJ and music

Location was good

The room didn't have an air con. Only the heating was on. It was 22°..Asked to switch off heating. Toilet didn't flush properly and reported this. We had booked BB and an early start. We had to ask for a coffee at least. No breakfast. There was a party with loud music last night on the 4th floor. I had a better experience last year in April. Also no one at the bar we were turfed out. The receptionist kindly organised cocktails for us in reception. Just hope our return visit in a few days to Neill be an improvement.

We had a lovely stay in Ariano Irpino. The Hotel Buffy was located conveniently to Ariano Irpino, and the staff was exceptional. We extended our stay twice, and they were very accommodating. We look forward to returning again soon.

A spacious room with a jacuzzi and sauna giving an impressive view over the hills. The room had candles and bath robes available for a quality bath. Breakfast that was served in the room was abundant.

The fuse was down in the switchboard, so the evening was interrupted by the staff fixing jacuzzi. The bed was absolutely terrible.

Great overall hotel, modern clean rooms, great breakfast and great service located in a remote area

Mostly the property was clean and modern. We had the large suite with the Spa bath. Bath robes, slippers and candles made it extra special.

Some parts were not as maintained. The tiles near the sink in the suite toilet looked like a botched job and mouldy on the grouting. For the price we paid I was disappointed. Breakfast was average. Eggs were cold every morning.

The breakfast was very good. It would have been excellent had there been eggs, or orange juice. However, the other juices were very good.

It was difficult bringing luggage up from the parking lot. There is a steep climb to the main entrance making it difficult. Maybe some assistance like a dolly with wheels.

Very nice and served as great location for large group for wedding in nearby Grottominarda.

No use of pool. Also paid for a room that supposedly had spa access but was told you had to book an appt to use the spa (and no appts coincided with our availability (due to wedding activities).

Bed was very comfortable, room was quiet, great shower, private balcony. Good price, centrally located, extremely nice staff.

A little worn at the edges but overall very clean and nice.

Biffy was centrally located.

Since this property is a venue for parties ans weddings it was a bit loud the Tuesday evening we were there. Until 3am. :(

Very clean, nice modern bathroom

More control over air conditioning

lovely hotel, not much in the surrounding areas, and pool was just for show, not allowed to use

Breakfast, could have been a bit more of a hot selection

Location to venue of our party

The noise , not the best in soundproof, we stayed on floor 3 below the breakfast room and could hear chairs going backwards and forwards early in the morning

Beautiful clean property, average breakfast included, good room service

Beds one uncomfortable sponge mattress and horrible pillows felt like a blanket rolled in a pillow case, first night no air conditioning, second night was better but room not cool enough. Sleep comfort and air conditioning are the two most important things to us.

Staff very friendly. My Italian isn't very good at all but they made a real effort to understand our needs at all times. I really enjoyed my stay. Also has a cafe/restaurant down the road was brilliant and the staff were really friendly and found it was great value for money. Aircon was great too on a hot day!

Everything was great

Big, clean and beautiful grounds

The pool was for show! Not signposted either to say no one allowed to enter. Hard to explain to people that in 35 degree heat you can sit by the pool but not get in.Also no restaurant in the hotel. You had to walk about 6 minutes to the “hotel” restaurant.

Did not aconadate needs

Location not good Air conditioning problems No swimming pool Struggle getting up slope to hotel

Memorable outdoors area

The pool was not for swimming - just decoration. The spa is a space you pay to use ( sauna, steam room, showers, etc) the sort of thing you get free in many hotels. We were advised we could eat at the Biffy Restaurant up the road except that we found it was closed for two weeks
