This charming, Basque farmhouse has been carefully converted into an attractive, rural hotel, enjoying stunning panoramic views over the regional capital of Bilbao. Set 3.1 mi outside of Bilbao city center, the Hotel Artetxe is located on a hilltop offering views over the smart coastal city below. The hotel buildings were converted to the hotel by the Artetxe family, who continue to run the hotel. Nowadays it blends original, typically Basque features with a fashionable, minimalist style and modern amenities.

- Frankly, it was great. I had view over the city and the room was tastefully decorated.
- Great location , staff and breakfast . Very clean and helpful ,informative staff.Family run with great pride and passion. would very much recommend.
- Friendly staff who were helpfulExcellent buffet breakfast with a wide selection of savoury and sweet dishes which were constantly replenished. The breakfast room was bright and clean.It was good to be within walking distance of the town

- TV has no programs which I could understand or get some news.
- Room was rather small.
- The hotel is situated on a hill above Bilbao. It took 20 mins. to walk to the town and 30 mins. to return to the hotel from the foot of the hill
