Colectia Hotel Ondarreta

Location, close to restaurants, bus stops and to main attractions. The hotel is generally clean and we loved the smell of the lobby. The ease in check-in and out is was a plus, too.

1. The kettle provided in our room smelled bad so we immediately asked for a replacement but we were told that there were no more kettles available. So we just went at the lobby as there was a kettle there but it was not functioning. We ended up using the hot water from the coffee machine but it took us a while since the water coming put were like droplets only. 2. There were no sufficient lighting outside the building so be careful at night as it can be a little tricky esp if you’ll visit on a rainy day. 3. Not major but, maybe better if you have at least one mirror outside the bathroom and a towel rack or bar because there were no place to hang the towels in the bathroom.

Nice location in town, but they didn’t come through on amenities promised (bikes were “broken,” bed not as large as advertised). Appreciated the coffee and water in the lobby

Clean and large rooms, ideal location in our favorite neighborhood, 5 min walk to the beach. Easy check in, check out.

Location. The coffee and water that was provided. Wifi and tv were good. Help from person phone. Price was good. We stayed room 209.

Entrance was littered with cigarette butts. Shower floor moulding was dirty. No personal touch or interaction with real people. Very ‘digital’ … not for us.

The room was comfortable but with very simple amenities. It was clean with good shampoo and soap in bathroom.

There was no staff present. It felt impersonal. Check in machine was broken. Everything was done through messages. Check out process the same. The room was over priced. And when asked for refund on one night, it was refused when the hotel was empty. I wouldn't recommend.

Great location for swimming and access to the amusement park on the hill.

Was a bit of a walk from the train station, though quite a beautiful one along the beach! Power stopped working where I had my phone charging had to switch to the TV socket.

Very far from the old town and any of the attractions, not many restaurants around, no staff. The room is quite small, which didn’t bother us but might be an issue for some

The hotel is very clean, we had super clear communication about check in etc.

Everything was good except very loud noice from the unloading/ delivery at night.they brought some delivery to the hotel, probably bed linen from the laundry. And they loaded it into the hotel on carts so loudly at 3-4 in the morning that it was simply impossible to sleep. I think such noisy work should not be done at night, when the hotel guests are sleeping. Otherwise, everything was fine, although the hotel location is a bit far from the historical center.

If have car- drop off of luggage not handy and parking discount difficult to access. There are common seating areas. Would be good to have crockery and cutlery so can have own breakfast on site

Ok, maybe we are a little old fashioned but it is nice to have a friendly face on reception, however we fully understand that automated booking in is the way forward. That said it was easy (even I could do it!). What the company saved on front of house they certainly put the money into the facility. The room was very clean and well equipped. Parking was a bit of an issue but location to the sea front was great. Now we are conversant with the check in we would certainly come back

Lovely clean tidy double room with great en-suite and brilliant communal spaces with coffee machine and sweets. Great parking deal for a car park a walk away. Excellent excellent excellent.

The facilities were very clean and at a perfect spot in the city. There were bus stops less than 5 minutes away, it was surrounded by great restaurants and shops, and it's a short walk to the beach.

Absolutely fantastic, highly recommend, staff amazing, helpful and so polite,rooms spotless,towels huge! Changed at every request,bed so comfortable. Parking easy and well priced.Perfectly positioned to access San Sebastian, fantastic value for money,we will be back!

Shower head - too high. When they built it, they probably didnt think about people who are shorter than 2 metres. I had to stand on my tip toes to reach it. Also shower pressure was not the best.Bed side light was not very useful. It was very bright to have it on while other person was sleeping and in the same time it was not bright enough to read.Microwave would be useful as well as some plates and silverware for the common room.
