Hotel SANSEbay

A lovely hotel with amazing views of the bay and only a fee steps from Old Town. Our room was small but still comfortable, very clean and with everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful and very resonable.

We couldnhave used a box of tissues.

I have stayed at SANSEbay Boutique Hotel (Rooms & Apartments available) at the edge of the Old Town and 2 minutes walk to the San Sebastián city hall (main Landmark). My Accommodation for 7 nights, is the fabulous Loft-style Apartment (Modern Loft) which is a large, open space with minimal internal walls and high ceilings with sky windows (70 sq meters). My loft was super comfortable, surely spacious and refreshingly airy. Washing machine & dishwasher are provided. The heating was all underfloor. .Reception is open 7 am - 11 pmOnly Breakfast available in the cafeteria (No restaurant). Staff were helpful and courteous. .I definitely recommend this place for your stay. See photos

The location of the hotel is perfect, and the staff are very friendly, responsive and helpful. We had a great stay here!

The only thing is that the wifi was slow.

The hotel is on the marina looking out onto the bay and the rest of the city. The room we had was large with a nice modern bathroom. Our room and our bed faced out to the water. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They serve a nice breakfast in the lobby for an extra charge.

Everyone was so welcoming and kind. The room was generous size and had a beautiful view! There were thoughtful amenities which made our stay more comfortable.

Street noise was loud but sound machine for the kids worked fine.

A detail but - it would have been nice if the bathroom was equipped with a toilet brush!

Wonderful location on the edge of the historic old city so everywhere was about 15 minutes maximum flat walking. We had a spacious suite with views over the bay. The room was clean; the bathroom was well appointed. Friendly staff who gave good recommendations for restaurants etc.

Breakfast had few options other than a nice Spanish omelette. There was a bit of noise from a nearby bar which usually stopped after 10 pm or so- it really didn't bother us that much.

I loved the location, beautifully situated next to La Concha Beach and right at the entrance to the Old City, with pinchos bars, shops, and amazing food just steps away. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. The room was in impeccable condition, comfortable, and modern. I would definitely recommend Hotel Sansebay.

There was no conditioner in the shower.

Excellent location, beautiful view, helpful staff

Location was great, few steps to all the restos in Old Town. We had a view of the bay, they even upgraded us to a beautiful room that overlooks the ocean. It was really great! The staff were all friendly and helpful! Definitely our best hotel in this trip!

Location, quiet, clean, comfortable bed

Directions for driving there have room for improvement— video is great idea but it goes to fast to follow while you are actually driving. It’s an incredibly confusing place to drive if you’re new to the area. If you could include WRITTEN driving directions it would be extremely helpful.

Great location with a view of the ocean and steps from old town and all the bars and restaurants. The shower is wonderful and the toiletries are great. Team working was super friendly and helpful.

Bed was a little soft for me but loved everything else.

Location was perfect. The staff was always so helpful and our apartment had everything that we needed.

We were at the floor that children were always passing by during the day and sometimes it could get a bit noisy by our room but it wasn’t a problem for us.

Location was excellent. Very spacious, clean and well equipped.

Great location. This hotel is located in quieter area of old town next to the beach . Close to restaurants, shops, bakeries, churches, markets, etc.. There are lots of restaurants and bars down the street.

Small rooms

its our third time staying here it is in an amazing spot overlooking the marina and beach and in the old town area so everything is close by would highly recommend this hotel very warm friendly staff and rooms are really nice the breakfast is if you want it has a lot of options and very reasonably priced the staff are so helpful giving you advice on any trips and places to visit and there are so many tapas bars to mention im sure you will find your favourites like we did hope this helps

The staff and location were the highlight.

The room we had was like a dungeon, no windows other than a slider window and a damp patio. The room configuration was angular and strange and made it awkward around the bed. We would have booked 3 more nights if we were in a better room.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable but extremely small with almost no room to maneuver around the bed once luggage was open. Staff was kind and friendly. Location was perfect and views were stunning.

Room size

The staff was outstanding! The location was exceptional, right next to the old town and down the boardwalk from the beach

When we book with a third-party, we tend to get mediocre locations within the hotel. We were told we were given “an upgrade“ and we were in the attic room with a small window, looking out to the water that was labeled as beach view. It was somewhat claustrophobic. And when the wind and rain came the whistling of the wind, kept me up at night.

Location and helpfulness of staff

YouTube video to find hotel. Video was too fast and street names were blurred. This was a stressful moment and the staff on duty saved us! Suggest sending a hard copy of map or slowing the video with voice.
