    • Fabulous all around. Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. An oasis of tranquility away from the city yet only a 10 minute train ride away from the center. The hosts immediately make you feel at home. Great breakfasts and dinners with a top notch chef Friday thru Sunday. A very special place. Nice (steep) walks around the property with views of mountains and ocean.

The property is simply stunning - a beautifully renovated countryside house surrounded by trees and orchards, offering a peaceful and charming rural atmosphere. Everything is spotless, well-organized, and designed with great attention to detail. The views are breathtaking, and you can truly feel the love and care put into every corner. The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and genuinely caring, making the whole experience even more special.

The property is beautiful. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, and the family who runs the place are extremely warm, interesting, and gracious hosts. Truly, they are special and so is the property.

It is hard to name one thing we like about this property because everything was great. Obviously, I have read the comments before I have booked this place and I went with high expectations. Property did not just fulfill my expectations, it did go beyond my expectations. Staff were the most amazing people I have ever met in my trip. They are all super lovely ladies. Rooms were so big and full of everything you might need. The chef Xaxa’s tasting menu was amazing. The cakes and coffee-tea service were super nice. Landscape was great. The barrio around is prertty good too. Overal, thanks for everything, looking forward to come again. Lots of love from us!

I like everything. There is no single thing that I did not like.

If I could rate this charming hotel higher than a 10, I absolutely would. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and charm that it instantly felt like home. The check-in process was smooth and personal, with fascinating stories about the origins of this wonderful family-run hotel. If dinner service is available during your stay, don’t miss it! The food is nothing short of outstanding. We had an amazing overnight stay, but this hotel truly deserves a longer visit, which we’re already planning for next year.Thank you for delivering exceptional customer service and creating such a memorable experience!

The Heredad de Unanue is a lovely and truly exceptional hotel. Located in an idilic place, among apple and kiwi fruit orchards, the beautifully restored old farmhouse offers an oasis of peace and comfort only 15 minutes away from Donostia's (San Sebastián) busiest streets. The decoration is beautiful, and every person working there is friendly, professional, and helpful. The room and amenities are first class. For foodies, please have dinner at the hotel. The chef, Xaxa, is a rare genius, we have the most amazing dinner there, and we asked to meet him to offer our appreciation. He does everything, prefers to cook for a few at the hotel, and offers the superb quality one would expect at a Michelin stared place. The restaurant is open only to residents, so your delicious meal can be had in peace and with no rush. We stayed at the hotel three nights and was the best stay in Spain ever (including top hotels and Paradores).

Not realising the restaurant was so good until our last night. Otherwise, we could have sampled the whole menu.

Calm, comfortable, high standard of furnishing. Lovely welcome and lots of useful advice for getting the most out of San Sebastián. Dinner was amazing by Xaxa. Breakfast good and outdoor terrace really lovely. Only 10 mins easy walk to bus stop or train to get into town (every 20 mins). Easy to pay using credit card on the bus. Return we took a taxi - only 12 euros.

Personally we are not fans of glass wall bathrooms due to echo and light during the night. Also the floor in the shower was unstable. All that said - it’s very high quality and looks beautiful. We would still choose to stay here again.

Exceptional place! Modern and design interiors in a historical former farm. Unbelievably comfortable beds! We loved the customized breakfast, we were offered a choice of home made cakes, eggs, cheese and so on. So much more personal. In the hotel you can also have a dinner, which is fantastic after a long day of visiting. Fantastic cook.It felt like a 4 star hotel!
