The bed was probably lay the most uncomfortable bed ? I’ve ever slept in. Felt like sleeping in the floor. AC does not work in the suite unless you keep the doors open, which defeats the purpose of getting a suite. The cost is not ok for what we got.

The flooring of the room, even the bathroom squeaked every time it was stepped on. The hotel is quiet so at night we often heard our neighbors walking around and I am sure they heard us.

Convenient location just across from the old city, near the shopping district. Quiet. Free coffee all day, and free champagne at night until eight pm. Friendly staff. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Great continental breakfast. I enjoyed my stay.

Can’t say that anything stood out in memory that I didn’t like.

Good location - walking distance to all major points of interest in gothic area of Gros and San Sebastián

Hard to find parking garage, pricey for weekend nights

Great location, room was small but comfortable. We were very close to things and could walk everywhere.

We stayed Thursday to Monday. The prices do not reflect the level of luxury. This is a 3 star hotel, priced like a 4-5. Mostly based on location and demand. Parking cost extra, they really inflate prices in high season when it comes to accommodation. Not a ton of value for the money but you are paying for location, we liked Donostia but next time I would book way in advance.

Chinese thermostat difficult to understand, but at least the AC was freezing cold. Bathroom had rusty water shutoff valves visible, cracked tile inside showerShower did not drain properly, had to shut off the water every couple of minutes to prevent overflow of water out of the shower. Bathroom is spacious, but there is nowhere to place toiletries near the sinkWay too expensive especially with these things in mind.There’s no way this hotel can really be considered a four star property.

Nice property and room. It's generally a crapshoot booking a hotel in a different country, so I try to book 4 star and up just to be safe. This hotel is listed as a 4 and did not disappoint. The coffee and water in the lobby from noon to 8 daily was a plus. Bed was comfy. If I were to nitpick, I'd say the only issue was that the AC could have been a little cooler at night.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the hotel and found the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful. Cleanliness was exceptional throughout the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect for us and Donostia-San Sebastián was so beautiful that it was great to be able to walk anywhere we wanted to from the hotel. We had breakfast on the last morning and it was very enjoyable too, the two ladies catering the dining room were very friendly and efficient also.

Difficult to highlight something specific. Everything passed well.

Strange position of the wardrobe in the front of the bed complicate access to the wardrobe and fridge. Same for TV set, which is attached aside, not in front of the bed, is not comfortable for TV watching.

Super location. Modern & spotless. Free coffee station near reception & free minibar drinks was a nice touch.

Very nice hotel! Close to the major sightseeings, quiet and big room, perfect breakfast.

The cleaners were lovely, very friendly and did a fab job. We had breakfast one day and were very happy with what we had and it was great value for money. The only slight problem we had (rm 306) was there was a fusty/damp smell which we think came from the bathroom drain?? Our friends room was fine and it wasn’t anything that would stop me from booking again.The location was fab.

The one thing letting the hotel down in my opinion was the miserable young lady that worked on reception. She was there most days during our stay and never smiled once. It was a shame because the hotel is beautiful but first impressions count and she sadly let the place down.

It’s location to bus station and central to almost everything else

The room including the bed were a bit on the small size there was very little room to open the wardrobe doors against the bottom of the bed. The fridge light worked but the temperature was too warm to keep a bottle of water cool. This was my third consecutive year to stay in this hotel San Sebastián can be very wet and windy at this time of year but the umbrellas supplied by the hotel are just to delicate.

Very nice and friendly staff. Good coffee and soft drinks available all the time. Good location - short walk to the seashore.
