    Pros +

    • The layout and design of the shared space. The bunks were delightful and had all the amenities, namely the USB outlet built in.
    • clean sheets and nice staff go a long way! would recommend! also, in the heart of san sebastian, so very easy to access other stores!. i recommend the cafe across the street, la habana, for breakfast!
    • Location was great and the place was super clean including the common spaces such as toilets, bathrooms, eating area. The customer service via Whatsapp was super responsive and kind.

    Cons -

    • The noise. The outdoor patio at the hostel plays host to a lot of local talent on the weekends, making for incredibly loud nights. A couple young men were drinking out front and smashed a wine glass against the wall, injuring a man a few feet away from me
    • Some of the liighting in our room (reading lamp and ceiling light) was not working properly.
    • I wish there was a stovetop in the kitchen, the sheet on the bed was quite thin and easily came undone from the mattress

A historic monastery has been converted into a hostel. There's plenty of space and beautiful common areas. Our room and shared bathroom were exceptionally clean. The building's atmosphere was wonderful.

Location was stellar, bathrooms and rooms were clean, the patio was STUNNING, check in and check out were easy, staff was great in helping me make changes to my reservations, easy-to-use fob for entry to property, room, and storage drawer

I wish there was a stovetop in the kitchen, the sheet on the bed was quite thin and easily came undone from the mattress

The staff is very friendly. You can leave your luggage in storage before and after check-in.

There are no shelves in the shower to put bathroom accessories.

The location is top! Ourcroom was decent, clean all we needed for our stay.. the toilets/shower clean too. The staff were so kind and helpful. Tea/coffee/water were for free so it was a plus;)

Nothing to complain about tbh! We enjoyed our stay and we decided to add another day there.

Rooms felt very private thanks to the curtains! Lockers under the bed were huge and very convenient!! Seperate bathrooms were really nice, every had hanging for you shower towels instead the shower where they wouldn’t get wet!

No female only dorms, got stuck with 2 men snoring very loud even ear plugs wouldn’t block it out lol.

Staff was very easy to interact with. Two bunk room had large bathroom. Short walk to beach. Good electronic key system.

This has always been my favorite place to stay in San Sebastian! Clean, friendly, and the Convent Garden is a lovely place to hang out and have delicious libations!! I highly recommend it.

Location and clean easy and welcoming.

Noise in evening but it was people having fun and was a different kind of white noise put me to sleep since I go to bed early.

I like the location. The rooms were clean.

They supposedly had a room to get coffee, the machine didn’t even work. The bathrooms need a lot of work. The showers are way too small. The stairs are very thin to get up on the bunkbed, it hurts one’s feet.

Staff was helpful and check-in was smooth. Some of the best hostel facilities I’ve seen (specially rooms and lounge room). Well situated.

It seems there’s a few bars nearby and every now and then you hear loud people walking down the street by the hostel late at night. Maybe it depends what room you get, though. Was a little pricey, but it seems it’s a San Sebastián thing, rather than hostel specific.

    mostly everything

VERY HOT, no fans...noisy bar out my window but it was a time of celebration.

Location was great, just on the edge of Old Town so it's very walkable to all parts of town. Super clean with lots of natural light in the rooms. I loved their locker system where your room key/bracelet also unlocked you locker at the bottom of the bed. They have a kitchen (only microwave), living room type common area, and even desktop computers to use. There's a restaurant and bar onsite that's open to the public and other guests are relatively social.

Price could've been lower. I paid 50 euros per night in high season/August.

Very friendly staff! Beautiful terrace and downstairs bar!

The kitchen needs big renovation, small, underground

Amazing location near the beach, very comfortable and private bed with huge locking storage drawers so I could keep my stuff safe and organized

They don’t have a proper kitchen, there is no stove or oven just a microwave so you can’t cook

    9NivinePosted on: 7-24-2025

Central location, 2 minutes walk to the beach, comfy beds with curtains, plenty of space to chill around and socialize and attentive/helpful staff :)

It can be very expensive to stay, make sure to book in advance

    8NivinePosted on: 7-20-2025

Great location, in the centre of everything, beach is 2 minutes away, staff are helpful and knowledgable.

I wish they had an stove in the kitchen, It is a huge space and has only one microwave
