A beautiful old villa with perfect location. Very kind staff. Nice little breakfast buffet in the morning. I felt truely at home at La Galeria. Thanks for all your services and recommendations.
The walls are pretty thin and you hear that you share this amazing villa with other guests.
Location right by the beach and close to bus stop to get to Old town
The building is very beautiful and the staff is friendly. The price is good value for money. Very close to the beach in a quiet location, not close to the old city, but it is quiet at night and you can go straight to the beach and swim. The rooms had quite funny themes like 'The Bottero Room' and 'The Freud Room'. The toilet was a modern one with bidet/flush opportunity.
The rooms and the hotel inside in general was a bit darker than expected, the elevator is very old, and there was construction work going on outside, which we had not been aware of in advance. The bathroom had a shower, that was difficult to adjust, either the water was very hot or very cold, and there was a bit of issues with mold.
Warm and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Easy access to bus. A few meters from the beach with beautiful views. Toilet bidet. All these are only some positives. Everything was wonderful.
Construction facing the hotel was very disruptive. They should have let me know in advance. I would have chosen another hotel. No services at all but close to the beach.

Fantastic location, super close to the beach. Charming hotel, helpful staff and nicely decorated rooms.
The location is great. The room was pretty with a Juliette balcony.
The toilet flush sounded like a tornado ripping through the building. Loudest plumbing I’ve ever heard. The Ac was also very loud and had to be turned off to sleep. We were charged 30 euros for breakfast that we thought was included. My husband had a banana and croissant. When we explained this the server at breakfast said we ate the regular breakfast, which was a lie. Very frustrating.
The location of this property is right across the road from the beach, we had a room on the side street, which was very quiet, our room was spacious and extremely clean. We only stayed there one night and enjoyed everything about the location, the hotel, the staff.
There was construction going on at the property next door, which could be annoying if you were staying longer during the week.
My room had view of beach/park and was spacious.
Beach had periodic loud speaker announcements that could be heard from room which was was an ambiance killer. Room could have used a more comfortable chair or two to relax in.
An amazing location a few steps from the lovely Ondaretta Beach. The staff was very nice and helpful with the parking.
Location is fantastic, AC works amazingly, bathroom tub was divine.
You can hear other guests from above and next doors
Location is great, 2 minute walk to the nice beach. Hotel is rather old, but clean. Staff is very friendly
Elevator is very slow and shaky.
Great location right near the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful in booking taxis for us. Room was comfortable and had AC.
Our room and bathroom were pretty small, but the staff was apologetic about this.
Beautiful building and nice size room with a great view
Amazing, like you are back in time , yet very well taken care of. Location for the beach is fantastic, literally 2 mnts. The only challenge is to old town, yet lots of transportation around, so no issue.
Mattress wasn’t the best
Room facilities were good and location great for the beach. Hotel appropriately 30 minutes from city centre along the beach promenade.
Rooms in San Sebastián, at least during Semana Grande week when I visit, are always expensive. As such this hotel was probably reasonable value for money. However, elsewhere I might expect to pay somewhat less for a similar property.
Excellent location, 1/2 block from the beach. Staff was very helpful with recommendations in the area.
